  • If you lift your eyes above the marquees of ballaro market stalls can be a work of rare beauty: a polychrome majolica dome supported by columns interspersed with 4 talamoni in stucco (and this is the peculiarity that, in my opinion, makes it the most beautiful domes of churches of Palermo). Passed over the stalls of the sellers, how to go to the course Tukory, we arrive at a clearing on which this church. The façade is very simple and unadorned, in stark contrast to the richness of the dome and the Interior. To visit.

  • An impressive church building cannot be overlooked. The temple is located in the heart of Palermo by the large market around is always crowded and noisy. From the façade near its huge domes are not visible, it is only visible if you move away from the building, the dome it is strikingly different from other churches, especially as it is decorated with coloured tiles. The outside is painted in soothing pastel color, inside a richly decorated with stucco, many icons and sculptures, very spacious and solemn. The Church has a rich history, built back in the 17th century and has seen a lot. Very interesting for tourism object.

  • A small Norman church far from the big baroque churches of the nearby. But is a real gem.
  • half Byzantine, half reinessance. both halves: amazing!
  • Norman church built by Arab masons and decorated by Byzantine craftsmen. A must see.
  • This was a really interesting church which juxtaposed two styles of architecture in its interior. The mosaics were very intricate and the frescoes very beautiful.
  • Fantastic amount of useful information. This is great!
