  • I remembered this church in the Centre of Palermo. Modest from the outside, a small and accurate, without frills, inside it is strikingly different. The magnificent decoration of the ceiling with paintings, stucco, frescoes on the walls, carved and gilded. Very bright and spacious. Solemn, quiet and cool. Be sure to visit!

  • The Church is located in the heart of Ballarò and is part of the complex of Santa Chiara. It consists of the Punic remains, medieval and Baroque church of Santa Chiara. Founded in 1344 was remodeled several times to follow the evolution of the architetturee over the centuries, but in 1943, as the majority of Palermo, this church was the bombing. Today the Church of Santa Chiara is among the most beautiful, the paintings of artists: Guglielmo Borremans, Paolo Martorana and Antonio grain. Very interesting is the popular story that speaks of women Fora, who lived in what today is called the square of the seven fairies.
