  • At other times the market beef excellence, today is a little dull... it's more a place full of turisiticas and bars where to eat something! Equal worth

  • This was one of the experiences that I wanted to do at all costs, and that was actually what I was expecting. I've been in the evening in the square with a friend, and we had a great dinner of fish really fresh and tasty. Both were delicious, and the fried sword prepared the banquet. We sat by a bar, where we were served an excellent white wine that went very well with dinner. Low end prices, but great quality! a great post!

  • Born as a popular market neighborhood, like so many others in the city. Renowned and famous because immortalized on canvas by Guttuso in years gone by. And years were of real market. Today little remains of fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and all that you could search for grocery shopping. There are some day tour now besieged by restaurants and eateries, bed and breakfast, rooms, hostels; a few also the peddlers, the real heart of popular fast food. In the evening the square is filled with diverse people. Assorted range of outdoor bar tables, four or five episodes to do road for Palermo specialties: manmeetbansal, stigghiularo, grilled fish, grilled meat, boiled Octopus. Then somewhere drinking a cheap, taverns that can also serve something. In the streets around some restaurant meals. Tourists to the rescue. But also young people, mostly students, who with a few euro they spend an evening with the fumes of alcohol and other fumes. Worth seeing at least once. Some prices have adapted to tourists, and therefore a bit high.
