  • The location is at the top of the town of Palazzolo, but is very easy to reach it. In Greek Theatre, in summer there are cultural events concerning performing arts.

  • Very interesting site. Piccolo teatro greco actually between land and sky. Built in a.d. 664 from Corinth Syracusans who were able to choose a magical place. Curious the direct path between the theatre and the bouleuterion, private discussion of Roman senators. Completed the complex the Temple of Athena. On the site there are two quarries, the carved and the Dell'intagliatella from. Used by Christians to necropolis and Romans to the sacrificial rites to whose memory is tied a bas-relief shows exactly described this ritual. Negatives. Not applicable, no brochures, we have been given a photocopy of innumerable copies, unreadable, with the obligation to return it because the only one! We found the Museum closed, we asked why and the answer was pithy: so there's nothing interesting! Note that they were in more than one person to make tickets with a desire to work ... disappointed by how our cultural heritage is managed. We asked to visit the Santoni, a few hundred meters: closed because decaying, not a different word. Please note that the information Office of the city we were assured a guided tour at 10.30 is we were on time. (arrived before 10 hours!) Manuela and Alessandro Gori

  • Unusual and interesting 'holes' in the rock. Fascinating what long already could be man-made before our time! The nature all around grows as she'd like, so everything feels very natural. Unfortunately no information panels or notices. We must seek together everything from a slightly lean flyer you can get at the cash register. Unfortunately there was no English during our visit, therefore had to be English. I would like to find out more and then subsequently had to search on the Internet. The "parking" a piece below the Hill is free and there's a kiosk with little delicacies at the gate. Conclusion: great destination for walking around, some scrambling and discover. Sadly, lacks easily retrievable knowledge on the spot.
