Is a very windy day and so we decide to give us the views of memorable places ... at least I remembered. For several years now "the bear" is no longer free. Was "caged" in the sense that it is run by a company of the "comunità montana" (Palau ... it seems the sea ...??) and to go and see him (this actually will remain a hope) you have to pay a ticket (I think on €5 adults; kids under 10 free; teenagers don't remember but obviously less than adults) and as if that weren't enough tickets ... If you are parked elsewhere (try because walking distance there are free seats) , you must pay the parking lot (exclusively for the bear, because if you leave the car there, it's not that you can go anywhere else ... then how can you get money for even a dirt parking lot?!? BHA). At the box office but are honest and you anticipate that you won't see him well the bear. If you want to see it well you can take one of the ferries (i.e. what goes to La Maddalena) ... Got it?! Amazing! I mean it was made quite a journey to get under the legs of the bear but then there are no saints to see it whole. Dear Palau, you have a spectacular rock formation that make accessible to the public for a fee, make a path to get there and don't get the route at no point from which the rock can be seen in full!?!?!? In my opinion this is a very bad management of something that should not even be subject to a fee. In Castelsardo should put a tollbooth on the stretch of road where there is the elephant?

Roccia d'orso is recommended. The parking costs have 3 euro and also the entrance was 3 euros. You climb by stairs to the top of the rocks. Along the way you get some explanation via panels. Once above you get a nice view of the Magdalen Islands and Palau. The picture you see on all brochures, you can not. That place is closed and not accessible. Kind of sad though. Evening is the position of the Sun not ideal for to take pictures of the rock formation.

The road of the Orso Capo whose name comes from a rock that looks like to be mistaken for a bear twists along the coast and offers a condensed version of postcards. Panoramic views of the bays alternate with of many micro beaches where everyone can stop easily. It is one of the most magical places of Sardinia.
