  • This sanctuary is not a classic place to tourism, it is a place of pilgrimage, where one breathes spirituality and simplicity, which also comes from being held by the Friars Minor Capuchins, next to the Church is the cell where the Saint Leopold (a man of small stature but of moral grandeur) confessed to so many hours per day, and continued to administer the sacrament of confession until 1942 When he died. For this reason, the Saint's body was exposed to the sight of the faithful throughout the Holy year 2015/2016 Jubilee of mercy. In the Church hangs simplicity and extreme spirituality, and a special wing is reserved for confessions.

  • In itself, the building, bombed and rebuilt somewhat, though not quite faithfully, is not exceptionally beautiful. But you must go to find harmony with the figure of Saint Leopold, and stay a while between the Capuchins, the best representatives of the Franciscan spirit.

  • When you walk into this sanctuary, everything reminds you of the life of Saint Leopold, from the statue on the square, the cell where he confessed, the room where he lived, the cloister and the garden where he strolled, the carriage on which a miracle occurred, to his grave, the destination of many pilgrimages from all over Italy and abroad.

  • Nagyon szep hely. Jartam itt 2013-ban.
  • Space for reflection and poverty where the Saint lived beloved by the citizens of Padua. This humble little tern was the Transfiguration of sweetness and goodness. La celletta where he confessed he's still uncorrupted

  • When you enter this Sanctuary you breathe for serenity and peace that has characterized this great Saint and when you are fortunate enough to see him in the crate is a strong emotion. Every time I go there I feel better. You have to try because sometimes words are not enough to describe it all!
