Piazza dei Signori, Padua
(4.6/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
Piazza dei Signori contains, among other attractions, the impressive facade of the Church of St. Clement from the late 12th century. Considered the most important plaza in Padua, this square hosted both the defeats and triumphs over the centuries of the city’s history. The clock tower designed by Giovanni Maria Falconetto and completed in 1532 still displays both the time and astronomical information. As the place where locals and those in the know meet up to have a drink, snack, or meal with a view, you can enjoy yourself just watching the people. Our Padua vacation builder makes visiting Piazza dei Signori and other Padua attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • One of several piazze in a chain thru the old city. This one has a number of cafes and restaurants with nice views of the historic buildings.
  • A charming town on our way to other Italian cities. If you are in a hurry, don't stop, if you have time, take a quick trip.

  • Tourist attraction. Place needs a visit.
  • The classic Italian square, the best one in Treviso: very suggestive!
  • Nice place to meet up with friends. Surrounded bars are a bit expensive
  • Fantastic atmosphere and a great place for lunch
  • Really nice historical place, the true central part of Treviso
