  • According to legend, the monument should contain the remains of the founder of Padua although modern analyses have confirmed that the remains belong to, most likely, to a Hungarian Warrior of the ninth century. The monument has a good conservation status but if the Administration had expected some sign with the story (or myth) of this monument, they could definitely appreciate it more.
