Caffe Pedrocchi, Padua

3.8
#1 of 26 in Nightlife in Padua
Take part in a Padua institution by sipping a prosecco at Caffe Pedrocchi. Since 1831, the region's intellectuals and commoners have stopped here for conversation and coffee. Admire the building's ornate exterior architecture, the result of fusing several structures into one. Check online for a schedule of live music performances. During our visit in the city of Padua we decide to consume the classic spritz this historic Café. Of all that is said and it reads at this venue remained only the stories and structure (really nice). Paying the Bill required upon delivery of aperitifs, you do not accept all credit cards (very bad for a local popular with foreign travelers!) and atmosphere from "bar on the corner." At least the prices are aligned with the service, in other cities in places so famous you spend twice as much if not more.

Historical place, impressive with its free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Elegant level. Tasted a very good coffee.

  • Wonderful coffee, cakes and also full meals. It isn't any more expensive than any of the nearby establishments, plus complimentary nibbles are generous and you're in lovely surroundings. Try the house special coffee - it's great if you have a sweet tooth. Lastly, they're dog friendly, even inside, so bring your pooch!
  • Very good, pedrocchi coffee superb for me but will not be to everyone's taste. Would love to go back.
  • Above average. Good food & service.
  • Excellent cafe and cakes. Torta with layers taking you on a journey of delight and pure satisfaction. Highly recommended historic place.
  • This is going to cost you a bit, but it's totally worth it! The tiramisu the have is just divine...
