  • It's not the usual Museum where were reconstructed environments in which were inserted objects and furnishings typical of rural dwellings. This is a real peasant where Ettore Guatelli lived until his death in 2000 and in which the elementary school teacher has amassed thousands of tools, milk, pottery, bags, poor objects of common use: but the beauty of this "collection" (as he called Gauthier) is not so much in the objects but in their arrangement, built by himself. Seem paintings, artistic compositions. In the visit drove a lady (unfortunately we didn't ask the name) which set out in detail the use of so many objects of which we did not know even existed. He also did visit the rooms where he lived Guatelli (which are also crammed with objects). Definitely worth a visit. Service information: entrance €5 (over 3 €65). Open from March until December 8 only on Sundays and weekday feasts (other days by appointment).

  • Fascinating journey into the memory of a time not long ago, that the lucid "madness" of a master visionary has transformed into a work of art. The accumulation of everyday objects that are derived from a compulsive passion turned into a whole that is hard hits in contemporary Museum design. The master Gauthier has been able to return item, memory and charm to the most humble existed and exists.

  • Today guided visit to the Museo Guatelli at Ozzano Taro. Guatelli collector of poor objects tied to our land made of collecting a work of art. Each object is located with great skill on various walls to form architectural designs that encourage us to have a better look at everything. The guide we had today was a great connoisseur and responded to our question. The visit lasted about two hours. I think I want to come back in a few time to observe all that I have missed.

  • This is really a magical place. Over 60k items collected from the countryside hanging all over the walls: farmer's tools, old kitchen tools, wood games, shoes and everything you can imagine. Simply incredible
  • Incredible museum for hand tools from Italian farms
  • I state that I feel get by phone if you liked a place makes me a little impression ... The Guatelli Museum can say it deserves ten visits, because every time it's different and leaves traces of memory more and more precious as time passes. Its value grows. The feast of the choir of the criminals of Parma closes in this place, with a warm and simple. Thanks to all the people who carry it forward.
