  • Very beautiful baroque church at the top of the Sacred Mount of Ossuccio. Wonderful frescoes, stucco and a magnificent altarpiece-Coronation of the Virgin. From the playground near the temple with beautiful views of the surrounding area.

  • Sacro Monte di Ossuccio is religious complex included in the list of Unesco World Heritage site, spread "Sacri Monti of Piedmont and Lombardy". The Sacro Monte di Ossuccio includes fourteen chapels, distributed along a tree-lined Avenue, and the sanctuary of Beata Vergine del Soccorso, against the backdrop of Val Perlana. The chapels are built in XVIII century, celebrating the mysteries of the Rosary and contain terracotta sculptures, the work of Intelvi Valley artists, interesting also as testimony of ways and customs of the times. Preceded by a large portico, the Church dates back to 1537 with subsequent additions. The impressive 18th-century bell tower has a fine concert of 5 bells. The Church has a single nave decorated with stucco, frescoes and scagliola, an altar and a contemporary carved wooden organ. From the presbytery leads to the chapel of the Blessed Virgin of succour, which houses a 14th century marble sculpture, Madonna and child, which according to the legend, found in miraculous circumstances, venerated as a dispenser of graces. On the walls of the chapel are interesting the ex-voto: small devotional paintings depicting miraculous interventions of the Virgin. The main feast of the shrine is celebrated with large influx of pilgrims on the day of the Nativity of Mary (September 8). • About 30 minute walk take visitors from the car park to the sanctuary, passing on route 14 chapels, inside which are statues making up scenes of the stations of the cross. From the sanctuary one can enjoy an amazing view of the Lake and surrounding mountains. Very recommended.
