  • One of the most beautiful cathedrals. The outside is stunning. Mosaics, carvings, statues! The alabaster windows are unusually beautiful.
  • What a beautiful spot. The details, the location ... Very impressive as you realize when the Duomo was built and how long is done about it. Also survived the Duomo earthquakes. Very worth it!!

  • Facade is even more beatiful than duomo in Sienna
  • Beautiful exterior on this Duomo, however the interior is a bit bare and disappointing.
  • Thrill to see this church that I studied in Art History once upon a time in my life. Took many pictures inside and outside Then shopped the many Italian pottery shops. BEAUTIFUL pottery!
  • wandering through the street of Orvieto at night and discovering the illuminated cathedral with all the colors is a recording I will never forget
  • Staff are more concerned with ensuring tourists don't take photos or videos than with customer service. Not a welcoming place to visit.
