  • In the historical centre right on the pedestrian street, this beautiful church is worth a visit. The Interior is Gothic and very impressive, well worth a stop.

  • Just off the main square is this unspoilt medieval church with some original frescoes preserved. Cold on a windy March day so it must be good on a hot summer day!  more »
  • Just arrived in Orvieto, the first monument we visited (trying to follow a very specific historical route) was the Church of Saint Andrew, the facility itself for itself inside remains a bit dark, cold (in the sense of transportation of emotions), and stripped of many frescoes (there were actually very few), but as soon as we go down in the basement (accessible only by booking in advance the presence of a guide of the place) you discover another world : different eras stacked one on the other ... excavations that allow us to admire some remains of the Etruscan age, and then move on to some stocks of roads linked to the ancient Roman Empire, and finishing with what remains of the original mosaic flooring, of St Andrew's Church due to the 12th century. To see definitely ....
