  • It's amazing to be in the presence of the remains of one of the Apostles. Whether you face the religious-spiritual perspective or historical visit, it's unbelievable the feeling you get, the place is definitely worth a visit. Too bad the basilica and especially the presence of the remains of St Thomas the Apostle in that place are little-publicized.

  • Your approach with all respect and curiosity that the place imposes, but without prejudice to the spiritual aspect and the interest for the historical event that brought the remains of the Saint in Ortona, little remains except the fourteenth-century artifact, tombstone and URN. A little disappointing.
