  • If you want to visit a very special you should definitely go see the Nuraghe arrubju. As the name suggests, his particolalirà is being covered with red Lichen that really make it special. Vist the guide who explained by zone what life was like inside the nuraghe. See also the part relating to Roman history.

  • A great giant, a five-lobed "5 torri" that imposing on the territory it dominates with its reddish color given by lichens, hence the appellation "Red Giant", to visit at least once, striking in its complexity, inside you can feel unique sensations, memory stone, from room to room, the light shines in a controlled manner from the slits and the apperture giving rise to stage effects that dance in time lasting up to our times.

  • Don't take my readers countrymen, saying that the show greater civilization dates back over 1500 years before Christ. The nuraghe, massive monuments, present to thousands across the island, with similar characteristics indicating common projects and construction methods (I wish it were so for the construction of our highway, Carlo Felice), and artifacts that indicate that the nuraghic culture expressed a people intrepid traveller. The nuraghe Arrubiu (meaning nuraghe red) stands on a plateau not far from the village of Orroli. Its conservation status is very good and allows you to observe the construction techniques whose elements are partially worked stones of great size, and fit without the use of mortar. Even the times of this construction are made with the same technique. The excavations have brought to light the nuraghe are not yet completed and this makes the visit even more fascinating visiting this site, whose entrance was protected by a landslide caused by telluric beddings that prevented Chavs of plunder and that will enable us in future to make new discoveries about the nuragic people which has a partial knowledge because there are no written artifacts. There are signs of Roman colonization in nuraghe next which used the nuraghe as cellar for the production of wine (there are vats for pressing grape craft and tanks). From previous excavations revealed terracotta pots from the Mycenaean civiltò, which supports the hypothesis that the nuragici good navigators, such as shows from ships in bronze representing this activity. The site is very nice, you should visit guide service available daily
