  • We visited the archaeological site one evening in August and although they were about to close we met a guide, Graziano, who calmly and enthusiasm showed us this gem, also giving us some advice for other visits. Is an interesting site in lovely setting to visit with guide unfortunately is a bit neglected because in Italy always miss the funds but worth the money.

  • We visited the Roman city of Cosa in late August, under a Sun it was worth it! Unfortunately these excavations are poorly publicized and promoted, as often happens in Italy! The entrance to the archaeological site is free to the Museum costs € 2, but I would have been happy to pay 10 € to finance the enhancement of this place! My vote is not so much for the place as it is now, but for how it could be having regard to its potential! Walking through the ruins on the Hill you also enjoys beautiful views over the lagoon of Orbetello, Argentario and the Lake of Burano.
