  • It's a perfect blend of history and nature. The site offers a rich visit is for those who love the historical remains is for those who love nature trails. The Roman colony stood, in fact, on the promontory of Ansedonia, a wonderful village of Orbetello, which drags the fascinating history of the ancient civilizations that lived along the scenic beauty of the place. What is reached along the Aurelia to Rome, turning to the first issue of Ansedonia. If you want to continue with the car, you have to follow the first mug shots, turning to the right, but the road is very narrow. If you enjoy walking, there is a long road and Park before areas close the beach and going up the cut. Prior bar/restaurant "Vinicio", turn right. Continue for a long time, until you reach the Hotel Hermitage and the first right you will see the access from the great wall. The ticket is only 2 €, includes a visit to the Museum, organized with significant exhibits of various types, all related to the city itself. The staff is very courteous and helpful with any explanation. The site itself is magnificent and extended. Includes the home of the skeleton, the baths, the remains of the tank, and the Acropolis. Choose a sunny day, in a time slot doesn't get too hot. Hours range from 10.15 at 18.30 from 1 April.

  • The place is magical, you can breathe the air of an ancient civilization disappeared. Unfortunately the place is poorly preserved, if it were in France would be valued more. ...

  • What colony is situated south of Orbetello (Etruscan), and was another thorn in the side with the colonization centuriata the borders of Albenga until Marta. The Roman soldiers were rewarded with lands expropriated by the Etruscans to the North of Vulci and in the fertile plain to Doganella, there are many plots referred Ghiaccioforte Assembly the colony of cliff rock alive by beautiful colors. The walls of What (Etruscan architecture), the domus, the olive trees, columns, and doli to and amphorae testify an intensive business, and so the Etruscans were served and hungry.

  • Suggestive and fascinating place. Friendly and welcoming people in the Museum. The visit to the autonomy of the ruins and excavations must be done with appropriate footwear.

  • A look at a past world, there are left only ruins of the ancient Roman city, these can be but an idea of the grandeur of this place. Thanks to the many olive trees, the site is alive and even slightly transfigured.

  • Magical place. But exceedingly savage. To avoid visiting in slippers. Highly recommended for those who enjoy archaeology in solitude and silezione.
