  • We went there by chance, waiting for dinner time. Really impressive the Valley at sunset and very interesting prehistoric sites and views of the nuraghic civilization. Brave guides that accompany it.

  • The Sa Oche cave is located in the beautiful vale of Lanaitho, in the territory of Oliena and is easily reached along a dirt road that reaches the eponymous retreat where is the ticket office and where there is also the possibility to have a few cool drink. The name is better known as the Sa Oche and Su Bentu, but these are two separate caves: the first is open to visitors during the summer when a lack of water allows you to go inside, taking care not to slip between the boulders, while Su Bentu can be visited only by speleologists well fitted. The two caves are connected by a siphon natural that, in winter by strong rains, allows the "emptying" of water from the latter so that it fills the cavity de Sa Oche and then go outside. The noise that is produced by this phenomenon, which is the moving air caused by water pressure, is certainly at the origin of the name given to the caves.

  • small cave easily accessible and very pretty. A little interior lighting emphasizes the concretions.

  • Visiting the cave is limited to about 20 m across. Path to arrive at the entrance to hard and not suitable for untrained people.
