  • We went to see the Museum on the advice of our 15 years that there had been a few weeks before visiting with the school. The guide was very knowledgeable and clear explanations. Even though we had visited many other important sites of our island with fabulous guides never nobody managed to enrich us and make us proud of our history as the archaeological museum. The visit lasted more than an hour and ended with a virtual vision much effect.

  • Among others, the archaeological museum houses two ancient wooden boats, which were recovered in the port of Olbia. The dimension of the boats is a particularly aware, if you can see also the reconstruction of its immense paddle. In addition to numerous artefacts from Tharros, Phoenicians and Romans found interesting maps and documents, which show that a large part of the town on Roman walls. Today, Olbia may seem perhaps not always so appealing at first glance, but only a few centimetres below the surface of today's is a real gem. -I'm sorry that the Museum has not enough space for all ancient boats have been recovered. According to Museum staff, some non-delivered boats in garages in Olbia are stored. The Museum is an absolute must, very worth seeing. And admission is still free.

  • We were recommended and it was a pleasant surprise. To begin the free visit is free, if you want to offer, also free of charge, a player that will explain what's in each room and in each ballot box. Great information and very comprehensive, with very important and well-preserved pieces. Highly recommended visit

  • Very interesting history of Olbia from bronze age times. Well worth a visit. It's free as is the audio guide :)
  • Small exhibition in huge building, but information is quite superficial. Free to enter, so worth a try
  • The museum is free. Too many exposed archaeological pieces disrupting the flow of the visit. Many screens with referenced movies where not working.
  • It's free to enter, no need to buy a ticket. It shows several old pots and plates out of clay they found in the area. I guess even if you were interested in that kind of stuff it's still pretty lame.
  • Strongly desired by the city of Olbia for exposing a large number of artifacts found during the numerous excavations carried out in the town, most of which are preserved in museums in Cagliari and Sassari, covering an arc or time ranging from Phoenician period up to the time of Roman rule, but especially the Museum has the world record for the presence of the remains of two Roman ships very well preserved dating back to 450 a.d. four stars until they have been reported in the city all his goods archaeological sites.
