  • Flat and sunny countryside, stand out against the scenario the silhouettes of the dolmen (a single Tower very well preserved) and the rural church of Santa Sabina. Historic range described by the two monuments, stone can describe part of the mystery that still hangs on the actual texture of this ancient civilizations of the past. Just climb on top of the nuraghe and ranging in the landscape, rediscover the meaning of old acquaintances. Not to be missed,

  • Just before arriving in Silanus, passing from the SS131, on the right you can see the archeological site of Santa Sabina, with a beautiful nuraghe in excellent condition and the small church from the Byzantine era. The visit is € 2.50, it's worth it, the site is very nice. Perhaps the only flaw, for people who work there, is the ticket office at the entrance, a wooden structure, perhaps but stronger with a real roof over their heads, would be desirable.

  • Already on the way one understands well worth stopping to admire the (magnificently preserved) and the Church (unique jewel in Sardinia), it turns out of existence in a Giants ' site unfortunately not yet explored (big shame) and with huge surprise of a sacred well explored but with evident need of further excavations which denote better shape , age and structure, I'll say something corny but I hope that the common reference would find the funds to complete the excavation work that what appears to be a small masterpiece of thousands of years ago! The ticket is priced right and the help is very friendly.
