Bel posto per meditare e per la preghiera personale. Bella the story that accompanies this Sanctuary on the small mysterious Alabaster Pietà. The sanctuary is nestled in a setting of Woods and green meadows. The small church, the heart of the sanctuary as it is so beautiful. Anytime there is a mass (in Italian and German). In this place of silence and prayer prayed even Pope John Paul II. The numerous votive offerings (occupy about 3 salt) testify the graces obtained through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, heartwarming stories of men, women and children helped by Madonna. Impossible not to be moved by seeing all those paintings of thanks for small and big miracles received. Outside of the sanctuary there is a delightful souvenir and refreshment. The visit does not take up much time, so it can be paired with a nice walk in the woods or a hike in one of the nearby pastures. Not to be missed if you are in the area.
Always with a beautiful atmosphere, even in the dead of winter. Probably surrounded by snow the shrine and even more fascinating, although in summer you can enjoy much more the landscape and the surrounding meadows. The Church is very beautiful and very evocative walls covered with votive offerings and thanks to our Lady.
High-impact, huge externally, internally not fully open because in use to the men. Striking the crypt.
The shrine is not much of a building but a symbol of spirituality x Christians. Touching the ex-voto in a wing of the Sanctuary. The place though is splendid. The altitude of 2.500 m guarantee perfect weather to get to the Sun without hearing it. Fresh air if not cold. The view then is splendid. Rosengarten Dolomites seen from behind is impressive. Worth a half day.
There are no words that can describe the place ... between nature and mystic ... Ancient Sanctuary where you breath smell of wood and devotion to our Lady. Striking the inside visit to the sanctuary of the many votive offerings ... The place is a place of pilgrimage of faith ... The self service offers a bit of everything and is acceptable but not cheap enough.
Right at the foot of the sanctuary there is a park where you can stop with the Camper. We loved it so much for silence and intimacy ... Great views from the sanctuary. The sanctuary is very nice and snug. There is also a restaurant and bar. Downfall, there is a phone booth, right outside the bar but didn't work! Very friendly managers that they didn't use their phone.
