A small but fascinating villa with several impressive mosaics. Shame the info boards are all in Italian. Free entry and parking, which is not something you often find at such heritage sites.

Marcello MastrojeniGorgeous mosaics! Too bad it's not at all appreciated: little noticed, captions only in Italian although many visitors are foreigners. Of course free entranceshow original
Giovanni CannizzaroThe Villa Romana del Tellaro has inside four large very nice mosaics. What I liked was:-the cost of the ticket for me high, 6 €, for not having any kind of support to visit-there was no way to see well only Photo mosaics installed away from them-the explanations were comprehensive but flats would have preferred to have a guided visit with further explanation, but it seems that it is not possible. SIN has lost an opportunity to promote culture in Sicily. Abroad with one of those wonderful mosaics we would have built an entire Museum. Here at mal just a farmhouse scattered in dusty countryside. If you want to visit it I suggest you read the story first on wikipedia or on their site and then matches.show original
