  • Arguably the most beautiful sea of Sicily. Lovely place with white sand and shallow water lagoon pool. There are the Posidonia on shore but is a naturalistic OASIS then very wild. We drove from San Lorenzo, Marzamemi, the last road that goes towards the coast. There is secure parking for a fee (a few dollars) and a little bar near the road with possibility to eat and take a shower. Absolute spectacle not to be missed.

  • With free admission, you follow the path that leads to various beaches ... The best known and popular, calamosche allows you to snorkel but you do have to get there in the early morning or else nn is space for the towel. the beach in the former tonnara, after first meters with algae, offers clear sea! Advice to wash for Reef shoes or undertake the unpleasant smell of algae

  • We found a nice cove with access to the water from rocks. It was a nice place to snorkel and take in the sun away from the crowds.

  • This is must see natural reserve very close to Porto Palo. The sea water is incredibly transparent and the shallowness of the bay makes it almost always very warm. By walking a short distance along the beach, you can reach the old tonnara (the place used by fishermen to lure and kill tuna fishes), which offers an amazing scenery.
  • Beautiful views; the tuna factory ruin looks like an old Greek temple ruin, very picturesque, and the walk along the coastline is breathtaking. Great for bird watchers and nature lovers.
  • Very nice beach. Good place to see sicilian nature.
  • Fantastic walk along the coast. If you're here for the beaches: i didn't find Cala Mosche all that great (it's rather small and can get crowded), Marianelli and Eloro beaches are a lot wider and well worth a try. Also liked the signposts.
  • Beautiful nature and wonderful bay. When it's sunny the place is very busy so to get a place come early
