  • We were in ciyyà di noto with my wife on a tour we did along the East coast of Sicily. The city is beautiful with vibrant, intense and salons are very fascinating. Just think of the dances that were held in the building, although only one floor is open to visitors. Pleasant visit without a guide, but with a small booklet where we describe the salt with some history. Pleasant to spend a half hour and take some pictures from the balconies of the building.

  • Beautiful starting with under barroc outside and finish at ten interior rooms. A magnificent Ballroom with frescoes on the ceiling. Note diagonally, compared to rectangular ceiling, two designs for Arts: music and painting and the other diagonal crafts Carpenter and blacksmith differentiated from wood and Metal Hammer Mazzoli. In the latter the classic compass, team, pomegranate ... and other signs that refer to other cultures, like the beginning of months starting in March and ending in February. Go for it, well worth the effort. For only € 4 ...

  • The Palazzo Nicolaci, has a history that would be worth to be remembered; the ancient Sicilian nobles dispossessed of its treasures and its historical memories becomes at the hands of a cunning speculatrice a coterie of rent. Villadorata principles will also turn in his grave, to Ms. Summa in the name nomen, affects only the profit and the veneer of phony nobility which cloaks itself. Try at least ashamed not to have thought, in agreement with the institutions, to make accessible the Palace as a Museum, accessible to many more who had curiosity and taste in rediscovering a historical heritage that is dying, as everything is art in Sicily. We would earn more in my personal estimation. But basically my is just a feeling tied to memories of a time that was and he saw my ancestors in the halls of the Palace of the Princes.
