  • The archaeological site of ancient Norba is poorly indicated. There are information panels, maps or brochures that can help you understand what it is. The various rooms of the houses were differentiated through the use of different coloured gravels but without an explanatory legend is unable to understand what you are watching. The only help is the cell phone that allows you to do searches on the internet and I can tell you what happened. Scattered here and there there are still remnants of Roman vases that anyone can pick up and carry on. No caretaker, no driving, no food court. A beautiful archaeological site left to almost abandon, that if she were paid, it would keep alone. A real shame. The site is also accessible to strollers.

  • I love this place. He's never crowded, at most a flock of sheep. For this you can really relax, read a book, picnic, take photographs without any disturbance. Only surrounded by these wonderful finds and imagine yourself in Roman times. Ah, try to understand how great the crosswalk at the time! It will be great fun trying to identify them among the main streets!

  • The Romans have always had a taste for the finer things is common knowledge, and the few ruins of the city of Norba testify to this testimony. A spectacular view of all the agro pontino, Monte Circeo in distance, paragliding lovers that are on the Ridge with the ruins to launch in their aerial acrobatics. And then the ruins. Impressive, but the road access Central, the most visible, and the grottini down. Truly a trip not to be missed, a spirited away to travel back with the mind

  • Paragliding, climbing, archeology
  • Hello guys
  • wow
  • It is a city dating back to the 6th century. BC, situated on a plateau, on the edge of a crevasse that faces the Pontine plain, the view is literally breathtaking! The route of the ancient settlement is well outlined and every corner is a discovery. A magical place not to be missed, ideal for a Sunday drive or for those who enjoy paragliding. Special thanks to Beatrice, the guide that today she exquisitely accompanied among the ruins, prepared and very friendly. See you soon Norba!!
