  • We took the opportunity of the Festival to visit the archaeological site. The Organization was perfect, very interesting guided tour and were surprised by the Roman remains of which we knew nothing about. The day was really enjoyable.

  • Archaeological site must exploit, there are no clear instructions on how to get there, there is no one at the entrance to the site and while visiting there are placards that explain what they are seeing. Fortunately there are so few tourists which is not yet subject to incivility. The site is located on a hill overlooking the Agro Pontino, his ancient people had had the audacity to challenge the hegemony of the Roman power without obviously do that (the story goes that the population jumped from high ground rather than be subject to Rome). Buildings with plants recognizable and well defined, you are doing still excavations since the site is of young cultural interest. The view of the Circeo and the Pontine, retracing these roads is exciting.
