  • The basilica of St Priscus is the Cathedral of Nocera Inferiore. It was built around the 14TH century on the ruins of a Benedictine Abbey in turn built on the rubble of the pre-existing Church of San Filippo, dating back to the year 955, around the tomb which holds the body of St Priscus, first bishop nocerino, in which the building is dedicated. Within existing among the various works of art stands out for importance a fresco executed in 1671 by Angelo Solimena and called the glory of paradise.
