  • I'm lucky to get to this lovely place from the sea, place that is appreciated. The zone pineta also allows you to rest with shadow, after all we appreciate in particular the fact that there are bars and establishments. If you are coming from sea attention to the rocks that rise ...

  • A charming place. Very clean sea and pine forest just behind make this a very special place. Beautiful for a day at the beach, you could even think of doing a fresh picnic in the Woods. Equipped with a good parking, a first problem is that to get in the most beautiful you have to make a brisk, almost 2 km under the Sun. You can with only two euro save half way through carriage on a motor boat down the river. In addition there are outlets and restrooms, a big problem considering the beauty of the place. So if you go, I highly recommend super equipped. Nice, shame about these deficiencies not very negligible.

  • Truly a place charming and picturesque for the total absence of facilities. On one side this is a flaw, because such a beautiful place could be enhanced. On the other hand, perhaps because of this peculiarity makes it so charming, otherwise it would become too commercial and, knowing our vandala nature, we could ruin this wonderful place,

  • Can be reached through the provincial road Acciarella, which by Neptune brings in Latina. Past the great forest of Fazekas, go on for about 5 km; at the first intersection turn right to Foceverde and after 3 km, you will arrive at a large parking lot. From here, a walk to Torre Astura. Whose territory is now included within the UTTAT (Territorial Terrestrial Weapons Technical Department) of the Ministry of defence, already known as "military firing" from Neptune. Runs for about 8 kilometers along the Tyrrhenian coast within the municipal area. The landscape is mostly flat, with low vegetation and bushes of Mediterranean herbs (maintained by military personnel, for tutorials) and mixed deciduous forests (forest tracts characterized by cerri, faith, Oaks and maples in prevalence), interior areas close to the sea, from evergreen forests of holm oak and cork oak, often surmounted by the dense foliage of pine trees planted by man in the past. The whole coastal area is low and sandy and remains almost unchanged important stretches of naturalness, with tall dune cords on which they grow the Ammophila arenaria and the Pancratium maritimum, two species of great value. In the surrounding area there is a pine forest where flows the river Astura. Risk zone in antiquity to the shallows and sudden rock benches, the seabed surrounding the medieval fortress are rich in archaeological object, until the 1970s, an uncontrolled looting.

  • A small castle on the sea built on Roman ruins. On summer weekends you all too busy. Pine forest on your doorstep. Attention because to get there you have to walk a little.

  • Beautiful place, suggestive archaeological site, spectacular sea. To get there you have to go for a nice walk but in my opinion it's worth it! There are eateries, so you must equip!

  • Oasis of natural beauty, crystal clear sea. Beautiful scenery between the Castle and the Mediterranean vegetation that surrounds the area. Accessed by free parking, from there or walking or taking a small boat costs €1.50 per person per trip. Then comes the first beach. To admire the Castle and the remaining strip of sand, just walk another 15mins along the shady path within the pine forest. Then comes to the Castle where you find the natural pools and on your right the biggest beach. No services, arm themselves with umbrellas, cooler and food.

  • Wonderful archaeological site open July and August with free admission. You can walk and enjoy the cool of the pine forest to reach the beaches of the wild and beautiful free castle with water of rare transparency. All this makes Torre Astura place of my heart to live all summer along with those who love the environment, history, swims and walks.
