  • extraordinary place in the past, now the beach became too small, the sea definitely is not the best but better than the rest of Neptune and Anzio. Definitely a nice place to spend a day at the beach but you need to get organized!

  • Crossings into Neptune, we stopped to see this curious fortress that was once a fortified Tower in defence of this corner of the sea. To see.

  • A beautiful place. Former military property, today opened for tourists. It is interesting to note that it is not possible to get here by car. From the nearest parking lot to the water we walk through the beautiful pine trees, fragrant forest. It is worth to get here. The only problem for non-motorized-no public transport in the area. But it's worth a try to reach even hitchhiking:) Also help You in the shop at the train station in Nettuno.

  • Cake Astura, villa for Emperor Augustus, fishpond for worlds largest bream, important port for timber trade, Giangiacomo Collection designs and manufactures pentagonal tower with acute angle pointing to Earth (Defense) then order, column properties, frangipani and bourgeois, then sold to private individuals which have devastated its function, now the sole property of the Ministry of defence ... used as advanced Observatory for studies of artiglieria......il municipality of Neptune has no responsibility. (I am a designer for static restorations performed in December 2004)

  • A lovely place. I got there by bike from Neptune by following the highway (16 km) but you have to be savvy enough because the road is pretty rough. From the parking lot to the beach you have to cross a lovely pine forest. The sea has some remains of the ancient Roman villa on the water surface where there's clay. The tower is not accessible and unfortunately there is trash everywhere. Given the cost of parking, I think 2 € euros an hour, could keep the entire area cleaner. I still recommend to spend at least half a day.

  • Lovely place. Is not very ideal for families (especially with small children) as there is to walk a lot to reach the tower and would be cumbersome to transport objects from the sea. Also the beautiful pine forest, before reaching the Tower, which is useful if you want to eat something with friends or family, all under one "marquee" natural trees. Fresh and very natural. A relaxing place, the sea is gorgeous very crystal clear. Unfortunately suffers a lot of pollution of man, beaches are lined with plastic and other abandoned objects, especially in the highest parts. This does not affect the quality of the beach which is very clear and clean, but it makes us think about how we should treat our places, especially those like Torre Astura. To access it is very simple, you have to go to County Road 106b 2626 in the parking lot of Astura Tower and from there you have to walk down the street in the parking lot. Distance from the parking-tower is about 2 km to go only on foot or by bike. There is also a small nautical transport that will take you though only up halfway (about the entrance of the pine forest). Parking access times (and then to the Tower) are not known, but during the summer is almost always open.

  • Surreale...la fatigue x get x two journeys on foot justifies the choice: the shadow of a pine forest of wait to 3/4 of the walking path offering the sea breeze adjacent that won't abandon you x the rest of the walk. East Coast marshes and the view ends with S.F. circeo Coast West Neptune. The tubs of fishponds and pkgangulynl x automatic oxygenation was left under and beside the front door of a medieval lookout tower ... Read Sotterranea studies or Clementi x deepen notions on the site and the Roman port less visibile...ma with a mask a different story .... avoid the hottest hours x return. ...
