  • words fail you as you enter, a place sacred to the motherland, all names of soldiers who gave their lives for our community, you have to go at least once in their lifetime.

  • I went back to visit the Shrine after so many years. There have been renovations but overall the complex retains its simple and monumental impression. On a weekday you can appreciate in a calm and solitude the complex and reflect on what happened 100 years ago.

  • Memorial of first world war, it's an amazing architecture built up on the top of a hill on which were fought some important battles of the final phases of the "great war"
  • Unfortunately when I visited was in pitiful condition ... great place, enclosing a great story but treated really badly, were present inside the sacrary watering holes and iron bars. You cannot hold so a structure that encapsulates the history of our fathers and brothers.

  • Great place to reflect on the people who gave life to the country, recommended to open our eyes to certain people. P.s. The view on the top floor is breathtaking

  • Must place to visit if you're in the area, as well as a museum inside offers a beautiful panorama, many benches and ample parking. At the highest point there are terazzini towards the 4 cardinal points from which to observe the surrounding area.

  • A 25-metre high tower visible from afar, with over 9000 remains of soldiers, who were buried in cemeteries along the Piave, fiume sacro alla Patria, collected and taken to this shrine. You enter by a grand staircase in an environment that requires silence and respect for all the soldiers who died in the great war. On the second floor there are the showcases containing of explosive remnants of war found during the construction of the shrine. Climbing further to reach the balcony where the Italian flag flutters in the wind and you see the bed of the Piave Theater of furious battles. Worth a visit to remember and honor a century of history. Nearby lies the capital of Francesco Baracca that hit fell with his plane and died. Today his prancing horse revived Ferrari. Large parking lots, some difficulties for people with disabilities.
