  • Look, there are places like this dappertuttobon Italy but this will liken him only at Redipuglia or Altare della Patria, I say that with deep conviction. Suggest going to visit the shrine of Francesco Baracca, the hero, carrying a flowering plant or flowers.

  • Pure history walk from Treviso. A shrine-Museum to admire in silence from which you can admire spectacular views of Montello and the province of Treviso. Recommended to lovers of history

  • Not only a shrine, but inside a museum well equipped and suitable for all ages. In a panoramic position: from the Windows you can see the plain and The Piave. If you are in the area deserves to be visited

  • A 25-metre high tower visible from afar, with over 9000 remains of soldiers, who were buried in cemeteries along the Piave, fiume sacro alla Patria, collected and taken to this shrine. You enter by a grand staircase in an environment that requires silence and respect for all the soldiers who died in the great war. On the second floor there are the showcases containing of explosive remnants of war found during the construction of the shrine. Climbing further to reach the balcony where the Italian flag flutters in the wind and you see the bed of the Piave Theater of furious battles. Worth a visit to remember and honor a century of history. Nearby lies the capital of Francesco Baracca that hit fell with his plane and died. Today his prancing horse revived Ferrari. Large parking lots, some difficulties for people with disabilities.

  • The shrine, built in 1935, contains the remains of more than 3000 Italian soldiers dead on the front of the 1917 and November 1918 between the Piave. The visit is affected, and should educate so as not to repeat war never again.

  • Being a history buff I visited this facility which is a short walk from the village, in green, tells the story of the war and remains stunned in front of the deeds of our soldiers by then, which nowadays is impossible to occur. There is also a small museum. A well maintained and guarded. Worth a visit.
