  • We visited this today and promptly came back to look up more information on it. Beautiful ruins and plans are in the works to restore it. Can't wait to come back and see it in a couple of years!  more »
  • We decided to visit this place to March 2017, after more than an hour we arrived at the Abbey and ... surprise! the entrance was completely closed. reason? restoration of the remains of the Abbey. Unfortunately the internet hadn't found no warnings and we ventured we stand so the gates closed. I took a picture of the sign that warns of the work for you.

  • Opportunity for a beautiful walk in the nature. Leaving your car and going on foot, you can enjoy a beautiful route for very much at all, slightly uphill, at the end of which you get to the Abbey. It's still there with its grandeur, in spite of only some remains. Strikingly beautiful and full of history. It can be a great excuse for a short hike. Recommended, especially in spring.

  • The beautiful Abbey was destroyed during the battle of the Solstice of June 1918, 15-20 and is now being restored. Easily accessible via a path that winds through vineyards and olive trees, for a walk of about 10/15 minutes. For now is not open to the public, but it is the same as the walk

  • Beautiful ruins of a Benedictine monastery of medieval origins, destroyed during the bombings of World War I. Fascinating place from which you can also enjoy a spectacular view over the territory.
