  • She alone translates what is Naples. Beautiful, sumptuous and ravishing! This church took me in such a way that it would return just to visit it again. Neck pain is inevitable to admire all the details in the ceilings. When I visited had craftsmen working with very ccarinho in the restoration of few adornments. A find! Enchanted me!

  • Despite having been in Naples several times I had never had the opportunity to visit this gem. What can we say? A real surprise! A triumph of works especially the lamentation in terracotta (touching) and frescoes by Vasari (superb). Not to be missed. Let's not forget the beautiful Renaissance chapels that have nothing to envy to those of Florence.

  • Nice church with gorgeous sacristy. Church is free but you have to pay for the sacristy. (It is worth it!)
  • One of the most beautiful churches in Naples with wonderful artworks, including the extraordinary sacristy with frescoes by Giorgio Vasari.
  • A helpful staff has pointed out significant historical and art pieces.
  • The Church has undergone several surgeries, the exterior is of piperno and has a clear Renaissance inspiration inspired structures of Alberti, the Pronaos and the façade was remade after damage suffered in World War II. In the church there are several chapels to follow on a suggested route, but there are two artistic wonders, they are the chapel with frescoes by Vasari, and lamentation of Mazzoni, operates in Crete. in it you find the Kings of Aragon, Lucrezia d'alagno and the humanist Pontano. The Lucrezia d'alagno is represented in Magdalene with her hair down.

  • Worth the visit just to the chapel Vasari that frankly I didn't know existed. I think many Neapolitans don't know this wonderful reality. The person who accompanied me to visit it is kind of you.

Where to stay in Naples

Naples' lodging options include everything from turn-of-the-century historical mansions to hip boutique hotels. For a five-star experience in the heart of town, book a centrally located luxury hotel. Less expensive but just as comfortable, traditional inns just outside the central area offer peaceful comfort, private parking, and private outdoor space ideal for quiet dinners and small parties. If you are looking for a less urban experience and prefer to stay in a leafy neighborhood, consider the city's residential suburbs.
