  • Piazza del Plebiscito is one of the most important squares in Naples for many aspects, 1) is situated to the center of the city; 2) has an important scene because on one side you see Santalucia and the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius and on the opposite side you can admire the castle of San Martino located on the hills of Vomero. 3) has the background, the beautiful Basilica 4) front by accessing the Royal Palace regarding the 2 statues with horses, you must put yourself down the piazza precisely at the Center bendarsi and do 7 laps over himself obviously accompanied by a guide who oversees and attempt to pass between the statues. The 98% fail in the attempt.

  • Beautiful and imposing. We are truly amazed at the grandeur and Majesty of the square and the Palace. I believe with good reason that it is one of the most important and representative of this colorful and multifaceted city. Well worth a visit and a few minutes of contemplation

  • It's great meeting place where the most important city events always take place, sacred and profane. Scenic, shaped Chamber is closed on one side by the Royal Palace and on the other by the neoclassical façade of the Church of San Francesco di Paola. Slightly set back is the famous Teatro San Carlo, one of the temples of Italian Opera.

  • The piazza is probably one of the grander things to see in Naples, with lots of room for photos with the imposing colonnades behind. To the side has a terraced road with views of Vesuvius which look quite good at sunset. It's also metres from the main shopping street in Naples, with well known brands and chains, as well as places for refreshments.
  • An inspiring site to visit. The piazza is very large and you can imagine the grandeur of the events held here in the time of the royal family. There are still events today that use the Piazza and the lighting/staging makes it just as dramatic.
  • Reminds me of St Peters cathedral. A very big square so it's hard to spot the shops. Looks more like a fire drill assembly point for the town, rather than a lively piazza
  • Gorgeous architecture and design. Worth the visit to see inside the open dome.
  • Great event every year in october in piazza del plebiscito a classical concert with 21 pianos
