  • It's dirty and degraded, gangs of punks and purse snatchers at all hours ... we have undergone a pickpocketing in the middle of the afternoon with lots of cameras to film the scene. Not recommended any kind of break.

  • Say that Piazza Cavour is a beautiful square is a long shot, is a large square from where you can leave for a visit to the National Museum, the Decumani and Via Duomo Cathedral seat where you can visit the treasure of San Gennaro and much more. It is also 1 and 2 line interchange station of the Metro. I have read several disparaging remarks on this square, in all honesty I have to say I've been there hundreds of times and I can say that this is not the wild west that you highlight, visit Naples mean use some precautions that should be taken in any city, anywhere I've been in the world is the guides that hotel porters have advised me to take. That being said for a tourist who wants to visit this area just don't wear watches and precious objects, carrying little money and possibly keep a credit card in an inside pocket and not in your back pocket. What you have to pay attention to are the pickpockets that you can cross in the subway or on public transport are much more skilled than those of Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, London and others. Anyway for all visits that I mentioned above if you want to avoid Piazza Cavour you can alight at Dante, the two Metro stops are between them of approximately 300 metres as the Crow.

  • I went to 8/2016. In the Middle toward the National Museum of archaeology, get off at Piazza Cavour Metro passed by. I think it is not going for sightseeing, local people have to take a NAP on a bench near the Piazza Cavour is a long narrow Park as the place.
