Where to stay in Naples

Naples' lodging options include everything from turn-of-the-century historical mansions to hip boutique hotels. For a five-star experience in the heart of town, book a centrally located luxury hotel. Less expensive but just as comfortable, traditional inns just outside the central area offer peaceful comfort, private parking, and private outdoor space ideal for quiet dinners and small parties. If you are looking for a less urban experience and prefer to stay in a leafy neighborhood, consider the city's residential suburbs.

  • This is a nice city escape. Remote and quiet. Cannot easely be reached by public transport. Has basic needs (toilets) at the entrance.  more »
  • I went there yesterday and I found the place very nice plus that good condition only entrance opened, private Avenue rai, about the Italian flag change Council (reduced to tatters) met employees of the municipality (3) only the gate of camaldolilli. the trail is always evident, but if there was signage ... much better. would be ultimately useful to make available brochures with trails of the Park

  • The judgement is mediated between positivity and negativity. I begin by positivity (who gave us the nature): pleasant, green, ability to walk, where you can rest in peace away from the noise of the city. In addition there is an incomparable panorama, which becomes even only if you move a few hundred meters and you bring to the Hermitage, the highest place in Naples from where the view stretches literally across the city (it looks like a large map of the city). And we come to negative (that depends on men): the Park lacks care, plants let grow without a minimum of attention, weeds, paths that would require maintenance and who remain left to fend for themselves. I mean a lost opportunity: better left as woodland, rather than pretending to be a park accessible for people who enjoy (so to speak) in so little green!

  • Aside from the breathtaking view from the terrace of the convent where there is the city of Naples, Pozzuoli until the entire coast, the camaldolese Convent is a place to visit and to eat.

  • Place full of greenery. Great to spend some time in nature with the family and breathe fresh air. It would take a bit of care ...

  • The forest of camaldoli is spread over a wide area but has some potential really badly exploited. It lacks anything that could make for a comfortable stay. I understand the desire to keep it in "captivity" but here you overdo it. I find it absolutely uncontrolled, unsupervised and outrageously wild. It is often half of my morning walks, but I confess that in the midst of thousands of chestnut trees around me in total solitude places, I don't feel safe. For example, it is not uncommon to come across fallen trees in the middle of the trails. The same paths in certain periods of the year, are a carpet of leaves. This enchanted place deserves a cure which is apparently a fugitive. A real shame. When I read the news of the discovery a few weeks ago of a corpse hung, I was amazed at all finding that the discovery came more than a week after the death. Done about criminals that testifies to the absolute State of disrepair.

  • Beautiful place but lacks a dog area, or at least before you could keep the Mavericks but now things have changed

  • Wide open spaces for children to play and picnic
