After passing through the cave or coming in via the alternative entrance, you’ll find the Imperial Villa of Pausilypon, containing a theater with 2,000 seats, as well as the first-century BCE Palace of the Spirits. • An unparalleled archaeological place, often unknown to Neapolitans but effective and especially important cultural landscape. The Archaeological Park of Pausilypon engages in a path from past to present through a long tunnel dug by the Romans and later by the Bourbons. At the exit of this I found myself in an enchantment, 270 degree views of the Gulf of pozzuoli with boundless view. If this panorama we add a theatrical performance available from the bleachers of the ancient Greek Theatre bring a touch of class and culture. These are the things about which we Neapolitans should be proud of it and proud to expose.

  • After traveling for almost a kilometer Roman Gallery it flows into an archaeological Park nothing short of breathtaking, an amphitheater, the remains of a Roman villa, a breathtaking view and all far from the tourist crowds that sometimes gets annoying. Not to be missed.

  • This is absolutely a must for everyone who comes to.visit napoli
  • Great place to see
  • Magnificent views of the landscape. You can get there with guided tour through la Grotta di Seiano. Absolutely worth the money. Great job from the boys of the cooperative that organize visits.

  • Place straordinatrio. The Gallery, over 700 metres and well-lit leads to an archaeological area of absolute respect, with breathtaking views of the Bay. Not to be missed.

  • A wonderful place ... not only from historical and archaeological point of view but also natural, on one side you can admire a breathtaking panorama that goes from the Bay of Trentaremi Bay until Calgary, and Procida, the island of Gaiola. Everything was made more enjoyable and interesting by the explanations of John, simple municipal employee, as he holds to State "I am not a tour guide" but perhaps is more ... loves what she does and she does love to those who listen.

Where to stay in Naples

Naples' lodging options include everything from turn-of-the-century historical mansions to hip boutique hotels. For a five-star experience in the heart of town, book a centrally located luxury hotel. Less expensive but just as comfortable, traditional inns just outside the central area offer peaceful comfort, private parking, and private outdoor space ideal for quiet dinners and small parties. If you are looking for a less urban experience and prefer to stay in a leafy neighborhood, consider the city's residential suburbs.
