  • The monumental building built in 1738 by order of Nicholas Moscati, Marquis of Suckle is perhaps the most valuable example of civil architecture in Neapolitan Baroque style. Healthcare district, in Virgin Street, opposite the Church of the fathers of the mission, its construction is typically for one of the most creative architects of the 18th century Neapolitan Ferdinando Sanfelice. Stucco in Rococo style made around 1742, by Aniello Precious designs by Francis Attanasio adorn the floors. Incornicianti stucco medallions with busts-portraits of the first owner of the Palace, the Marquis Nicholas Moscati, overcome the access doors to the apartments. In the 19th century when it became the residence of the Spanish nobleman Thomas Atienza, assumed the name popular that currently designates. The main feature of Salem is a monumental staircase double ramp, defined for "Falcon wing."

  • Definitely better than the courtyard of palazzo Sanfelice, not so much for the architecture that is similar, as for storage conditions. This is the eighteenth-century and is enriched by a magnificent rococo decoration and stucco lintels with torsos encased by frames. On one of these busts has been applied in remembrance a mask of toto. Once the courtyard as a proscenium theatre, opened onto a beautiful garden which unfortunately no longer exists. It's worth trying this building for a look.

  • In via dei Virgins, crowded by the Royal Court being the main way of communication between the Palace of piazza Plebiscito (actually then largo di palazzo), was asked by a Neapolitan nobleman to put into effect a Palace the who ladder was also a place of meetings. Becky Sanfelice Hawk wing scale that he can admire perfectly satisfying the need of the customer. The stairs, and ornaments, including magnificent half length portraits were painted and stucco in Rococo style. Maintaining a building that structure was supposed to represent a significant financial commitment and then was bought by a Salem, which then in turn resold. Now the property is piecemeal and there are plans to public alienation, likely a project for a museum to Antonio De Curtis, who does not see the light.

Naples' lodging options include everything from turn-of-the-century historical mansions to hip boutique hotels. For a five-star experience in the heart of town, book a centrally located luxury hotel. Less expensive but just as comfortable, traditional inns just outside the central area offer peaceful comfort, private parking, and private outdoor space ideal for quiet dinners and small parties. If you are looking for a less urban experience and prefer to stay in a leafy neighborhood, consider the city's residential suburbs.
