  • I live in Naples for a few years and the Botanical Gardens was the first thing I visited (being at your doorstep). There are plants from all over the world, my favorite is the Mimosa Tactile (leaves retract when you touch them). It is a beautiful green space in the heart of the city. Inside there is also a Museum, a University building, public toilets and drinking fountains scattered everywhere. Admission is free and you have to book. I recommend it to all age groups

  • The Real Orto Botanico is one of the oldest in the city. You can admire plants and trees from all over the world. There is an area dedicated to plants of South Africa, beautiful and unique. Another area where there are many plants described in the Bible. So ancient and beautiful to see. There is a plan of special, unique in the world, and I'm not kidding. Is a kind of rock, that once a year creates cracks in Orange, one of a kind. There is a Palm tree at the entrance that is very high, exceeding 30 meters. Inside you can also visit a sort of Museum you visit quietly. Are 12 acres, so much to walk and see. Parking is not a problem. You can leave your car down the road, very carefully, seeing the area. The visit is free but you have to always book. Only on Tuesdays and Thursday, stay open until 16. Obviously there is no guided tour. If you find the plate you can realize that plant is. too bad that despite there being a team of gardeners every morning, work to do too. It would take more care, even for buildings. Observed greenhouses built or the same building that houses the University. The usual problem. Get hold of a resource, and not only don't know how to use, but even take her to a State that is not nice. But well worth the journey. Is pure free

  • We had a morning to the Botanical Garden and we were astonished much find a lovely relaxing place in the middle of a big city. It is a well maintained and well kept garden with plants of various species and allows children to turn freely and to take an interest in the flora present. The visit to the Castle-Museum was very interesting. Certainly experience over again ... just calculating that the reservation and is free entry!
