Included in the projection 3 D before the visit that was very interesting because it explained the origins and functional principles with historical notes, and an exhibition of bridal fashion and everything that is related to the preparation of a wedding. 3 D projection will not more than 15 minutes but it was worth it. After the screening we visited the 3 halls dedicated to the Museum. Was really interesting. In some locomotives we could climb over and admire all the mechanics. The children enjoyed themselves. I have to be honest, being allergic to dust and having the baby, I was worried that they might be filled with dust. But no! All clean and I did not notice anything. Only the environment where he was a model of the railway left something to be desired as cleaning. But it was basically a room apart from the pavilions. Even the restrooms immaculate. Outside the Museum, a large space outdoors and the sea. Beautiful. There is also a bar. Too bad I didn't know that you could go with trenino historical Museum. Be x next time! Recommend the Museum to both adults and children!show original

Overall very enjoyable stay in the Museum. Carini various trains of various periods, and the car models. I went during the wedding fair, and some things were covered. Nice design exhibitions and model. If you want to do something really different this place is waiting for you.show original
Lo stupore. Questo è il sentimento che ho provato visitando questo museo. Se avete un paio d'ore di tempo e siete nei dintorni, non dovete farvi mancare una visita all'ex opificio della ferrovia Napol... read more »In amazement. This is the feeling that I tried visiting this museum. If you have a couple of hours and you are around, you should not miss a visit to the former factory of Naples-Portici railway that the Foundation FS turned it into national railway museum. The Museum allows, in fact, the history of our country from that distant 1839 when King Ferdinand opened the Naples-Portici until the early 80 's of the last century. Of course, a historical review original, as it is done through the rolling stock (locomotives and more) and some working tools of Italian railways, but still valid and original. And so it is taken with astonishment at seeing how our country was at the forefront of the railways and how the railways were reason of development. Obviously the wonder will be multiplied in your kids they will see these "steel monsters" huge and shiny, pulled the old "littorine" or the locomotives that passed through our Italy from North to South. You will be amazed by the restructuring of the entire Museum, spotless and very well looked after, with an attention to detail rarely found in Italian museums. You will be amazed by the attention but also simple captions accompanying the various exhibits: short, synthetic and clear but not inaccurate or uninteresting. You will be amazed by the beauty-General for the environment, an environment cured and well maintained that should represent a driving force for the local economy and deserves much, but much more publicity. You will be amazed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff: helpful yet not intrusive (... and especially not sprawled to play with the phone as in many museums italics!). You will be amazed by how it kept well and with care the Pietrarsa railway station-San Giorgio a Cremano, especially when you realise that there is a butt on the ground and I miss a vandalic, despite being written in Italy. The wonder you will because you will realize that having a beautiful, well maintained Museum, accessible and edited you can! Any downside? Little things: the publicity made by Trenitalia, the lack of a ticket validation machine and coffee maker to issue tickets on the side of the sidewalk towards Naples and would have allowed access to some extra railcars. If then Trenitalia made a bit easier the arrival (direct trains from Naples or with better connections with trains from the North), would be the top.show original
Tommaso PorzioThanks to the Foundation FS I arrived there by train Pietrarsa Express. Pietrarsa Railway Museum is a great placed in what used to be a factory. It is divided into several pavilions, you can visit in 2/3 hours, it depends on whether you want to help or not. Well maintained and very scenic. Is situated directly by the sea.show original
Davide MoscarielloSince the time of Bourbon to date ... the story of the Italian railways that I never imagined ... a real beauty ... waiting to be discovered! Interesting and fascinating for both adults and children!show original
Francesco savastanoreally interesting not only for fans but for everyone. A piece of history that represents the human inegno. The recent video activation revive with true realism the birth of the first Italian railway and in Europe. All nice and well organized beyond my expectationshow original
Marciano FlorioToday for a company meeting, we were all invited to Pietrarsa, in the eastern part of the city, practically on the border between San Giovanni a Teduccio and Arcades. The location of the convention was the State Railway Museum. A lovely place! I never imagined that the peripheral part of the city, there was something. The entire facility has undergone a major renovation that made something great! Everything is almost on the seashore. Very impressive!!! Is divided into several pavilions, where there are several locomotives and rail cars, dating from different periods of history. All media are in an excellent state of preservation. Even the different environments where they were placed the locomotives and wagons are well taken care of. It's a shame that such beauty doesn't have the incorporation, among the many monuments that are reported as characteristic of our country, or rather, the na city. I had no way to get to the Museum at the presidio if guided visits are organised and how Cadence. I believe that to reach this little paradise, you should take the train of the FS to San Giorgio a Cremano and alight at Pietrarse. Easier than this ... ... worth!show original
Luigi CaforaLovely. All too good from the panorama, stop, wagons. A lovely Museum. A blast from the past to appreciate the ingenuity and the orga nisation of the Bourbons and the South. Appealing to fans for adults and children. Worth to visit and revisit. Only down fall, unfortunately I have to say, the lack of parking and sheer lack of directions. It would be appropriate to advertise more and arrange social visits (elderly, schools, etc.).show original
