  • It's nice to get to the Museum and see different school groups benefit and "exploiting" the Museum and its beautiful spaces. It's good to see that there are enough adults, of varied age visit intrigued the Museum. It is a great honor and a big round of applause goes to current Director of FS, dr Canatamessa, for wanting the Foundation, to have improved and promoted the Museum, attention to the Italian railway heritage. ... certainly not "neutral", meaning that trains have always exercised a hypnotic charm on me, awakening the mysterious energies and dreams never quite subsided even now who are chronologically adult. But it has to be acknowledged that the train has marked the history of Italy and of many countries (as the beautiful song "the locomotive" of Guccini, regardless of whether you share his conclusion). We must remember and make known our Country, now marked down to powerful groups criticized foreigners for a long time and was a pioneer and pioneer in railway: steam locomotives (distributors and superheated steam) power lines, from aerodynamics, speed from the wits-phase complex to tilting Pendolino, from the safety of the lines everything that is behind it. ... but let's get to the charm of the Museum of Pietrarsa. The ticket money li vlae everyone. I applaud the presence of some gadget, which will be increased in their offer. Steam locomotives and three-phase: a blaze in variety, completeness, essential explanations even for non fans. One of the many goodies the headlights of steam locomotives with the light "oil" ... Periwinkles: exceptional. DC electric locomotives, electric trains: beautiful turtle in original livery. Missing too many electric locomotive e636, e428: funds now, e646 and e645 isabella livery (the most elegant locomotive of the FS). In addition, the exhibition space is very large, successful and three steam thing instead. Lacking the electric trains (and someone still out there, even in Trieste). Diesel locomotives: Okay the d341 prototype, but one of those that have been bandied about with that beautiful Brown and green makeup with red line we miss it! Wagons: nice surprises, including the post of the Royal wagon and wagon for prisoners. It would be nice to have on the forecourt, perhaps protected by porch to reduce impact weather, the tortoise (and 444,001) by train: from flag be moved ... The model ferromodellistico that is not cured and could contribute to the beautiful memory of the visit for the children. In short, a mythical, an exceptional place, a beautiful marina view ... ... the comments "critics" only aimed to the spirit that has led to this museum remains unfinished!

  • I went there with the family the 8 December day when the ticket cost € 2 and chredevo to find a large number of people, rather short, this means that the place is little known and advertised. Too bad because it's really exciting. Watch live all those locomotives was for me and my kids, really fun. The home movie in 3d then was really interesting. I recommend everyone to never miss an opportunity to visit this wonderful Museum.

  • Beautiful Museum. Easily accessible by the railway line. The stop is right Pietrarsa. Advise against self. Museum parking is not right. The Museum is on the sea. Refreshment in mind. Council breakfast a lot to eat with sea views. Visit suitable for children and adults. To visit.

  • A piece of Neapolitan history (sadly) unfamiliar. Museum excellently maintained, with locomotives of all time perfectly restored. The part dedicated to hobbies is currently under renovation, but this does not affect the display quality. Extras not recently: there is an open area with a spectacular view over the Gulf of Naples.

  • Lovely. All too good from the panorama, stop, wagons. A lovely Museum. A blast from the past to appreciate the ingenuity and the orga nisation of the Bourbons and the South. Appealing to fans for adults and children. Worth to visit and revisit. Only down fall, unfortunately I have to say, the lack of parking and sheer lack of directions. It would be appropriate to advertise more and arrange social visits (elderly, schools, etc.).

  • Today for a company meeting, we were all invited to Pietrarsa, in the eastern part of the city, practically on the border between San Giovanni a Teduccio and Arcades. The location of the convention was the State Railway Museum. A lovely place! I never imagined that the peripheral part of the city, there was something. The entire facility has undergone a major renovation that made something great! Everything is almost on the seashore. Very impressive!!! Is divided into several pavilions, where there are several locomotives and rail cars, dating from different periods of history. All media are in an excellent state of preservation. Even the different environments where they were placed the locomotives and wagons are well taken care of. It's a shame that such beauty doesn't have the incorporation, among the many monuments that are reported as characteristic of our country, or rather, the na city. I had no way to get to the Museum at the presidio if guided visits are organised and how Cadence. I believe that to reach this little paradise, you should take the train of the FS to San Giorgio a Cremano and alight at Pietrarse. Easier than this ... ... worth!

  • rich and suggestive, shame about the timings a bit limited .... Suggested the full path, including drive and filmed in augmented reality, at a total price affordable (8 euros). Also present children's gadgets.

  • Thanks to the Foundation FS I arrived there by train Pietrarsa Express. Pietrarsa Railway Museum is a great placed in what used to be a factory. It is divided into several pavilions, you can visit in 2/3 hours, it depends on whether you want to help or not. Well maintained and very scenic. Is situated directly by the sea.
