  • Surely the Cathedral of Naples and the adjoining Museum of the treasure of the patron saint of the city are a must see for anyone visiting Naples. It is good to inquire and book a guided tour to fully appreciate the wonderful jewelry creations donated to Saint by leading political figures in the history of Italy.

  • Very nice museum! A home to the amazing jewls and diamonds, made by the masters of Napoli through the centuries and donated to the church and San Gennaro, protector of the city! Inside you can find a crown (Mitra di San Gennaro) that has more than 3.000 diamonds, rubins and other jewls! Nice experience for only 5e ticket fee!
  • Molto interessante.
  • This museum contains various gifts that were offered to the patron saint of the city. Among the gifts we can find bronze busts, inners of silver and a golden palanquin to carry the statue of the Saint in procession. Are definitely two, however, the most valuable pieces contained in the Museum: the necklace and the MITRE. The first created with gemstones and symbols brought as a gift to the Saint, the second one built in the XVIII by Matthew Tan dismayed of gemstones and diamonds. To better understand the tradition and culture I suggest a small travel guide. Costo de 5 euro Museum.
