  • We visited this museum is relatively new and there are many like it. And a relatively new institution and so little known, but worth a visit. Interesting exhibits, i.e. the gifts that faithful, but mainly the rulers from various countries, have donated to San Gennaro for various reasons. There are pieces of priceless value, nicely enhanced by an elegant exposure and an eye-catching and engaging explanation of the Guide. It's next door Cathedral

  • The Neapolitans love their Patron Saint, much to call him affectionately "yellow face", due to the colour of the most famous statue in gilded silver. The treasure of San Gennaro, one of the world's richest treasures, found space just outside the Cathedral and collects relics, precious objects, candelabra and silverware several that the faithful have protected over the centuries, even during the many looting of the city or in the bombing of the second world war. San Gennaro is a comforting presence, as if it were a relative or neighbor, to fall back on in times of need, but also when you just want to talk.

  • Very nice museum! A home to the amazing jewls and diamonds, made by the masters of Napoli through the centuries and donated to the church and San Gennaro, protector of the city! Inside you can find a crown (Mitra di San Gennaro) that has more than 3.000 diamonds, rubins and other jewls! Nice experience for only 5e ticket fee!
  • Molto interessante.
  • This museum contains various gifts that were offered to the patron saint of the city. Among the gifts we can find bronze busts, inners of silver and a golden palanquin to carry the statue of the Saint in procession. Are definitely two, however, the most valuable pieces contained in the Museum: the necklace and the MITRE. The first created with gemstones and symbols brought as a gift to the Saint, the second one built in the XVIII by Matthew Tan dismayed of gemstones and diamonds. To better understand the tradition and culture I suggest a small travel guide. Costo de 5 euro Museum.
