  • This is the place to understand how the people of Naples Valdes on santo. The Museum collects all works Neapolitan population and the various votive sovereigns who reigned over Naples. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful. Works arranged in a clear way. I highly recommend a visit, the cost of entry for what you'll see it's worth it. The ticket costs about € 6.00

  • Guided tour, conducted with skill and passion by Marilena, who introduced us to the wonders of the treasure of San Gennaro but mainly the special relationship that binds the people of Naples to the Holy

  • precious unimaginable, the result of the sweat of those who gathered the precious stones, of those who work, who has packed works that should celebrate the Almighty and instead adorned the bodies of people credutasi important. People, workers, artisans who definitely did not live in ease and riches have handed down objects of art, ingenuity, of aesthetic concept to be rediscovered, beauty. A great wonder that knows everything and anything, that exists and pesa, which is exposed and seeing slowly. I feel lost with an eye for anything obvious and discounted, the face of one who has ground thousands of kilometres in the midst of the difficulties of daily life and suddenly finds himself in the midst of unbridled wealth that even could dream of. Visit the exhibition halls of the treasure of San Gennaro is like walking into the world that we live as pilgrims, drain the soul like a bagful for cammionare free, no gold, diamonds and other earthly preciousness that here remain for posterity and celebrate our anonymity.

  • Very nice museum! A home to the amazing jewls and diamonds, made by the masters of Napoli through the centuries and donated to the church and San Gennaro, protector of the city! Inside you can find a crown (Mitra di San Gennaro) that has more than 3.000 diamonds, rubins and other jewls! Nice experience for only 5e ticket fee!
  • Molto interessante.
  • This museum contains various gifts that were offered to the patron saint of the city. Among the gifts we can find bronze busts, inners of silver and a golden palanquin to carry the statue of the Saint in procession. Are definitely two, however, the most valuable pieces contained in the Museum: the necklace and the MITRE. The first created with gemstones and symbols brought as a gift to the Saint, the second one built in the XVIII by Matthew Tan dismayed of gemstones and diamonds. To better understand the tradition and culture I suggest a small travel guide. Costo de 5 euro Museum.
