  • I must say I was surprised. The zoo I loved it and I have to say is well maintained and there are lots of pieces to see. Staff all young and there are picnic areas to eat and bar where to stop along the way. The Park is mostly under the trees, and with this heat it was fine too. Successful restructuring and although admission is €10, with a lot of money that you are paying for other nonsense, support these animals and this investment for a city like Naples worth it. Internal parking with €2! Recommend it to everyone!

  • Sunday 25 June we decided to bring the baby to the Zoo which goes crazy (not to say that we're going crazy) and it was a real pleasant surprise. The uiltima time we stayed, about 3 years ago, it was still under renovation, but today is really nice! First the area kids baby zoo is cute, the path is made more pleasant to picnic areas where you can eat even bringing the breakfast a lot, the Savannah is coming very well. and animals are a sight as well made the playground ... Only two notes that I feel I have to do is ribvolti the services and costs of tickets ... Let me explain ... The restrooms are dirty places close to maleodaranti and will have about ristobar perpetually in my grandmother's age!!! (my son as other children did not want to make their needs) and drawbacks with regard to an area where you can change your small (they should expand and modernize bathrooms very important!!!) ... the second sore point the ticket ... I find really overreacted to charge a €10 ticket to a child 3 years ... because how do you in all the zoos of Europe children are exempt up to 6/8 years?? in this way those who have two or three young children can bring them every week to make a nice picnic, paying only the adults while if it stays that way after the first time there you go further because it gets expensive!

  • We took advantage of the promotion that lets children for free for the entire month of July and, despite the heat, around 16 were at the zoo. It's been just over a year since the last time we were and found it improved. Remember that already on my last visit the animals were much better and only the Tigers remained in those cages patently too small for their stature. Now they too have been moved and the habitat plays for the Leopard is really impressive. The ticket price is €10 and what is not great seen on sunny days, the zoo closes at 18 so it is not possible to visit it when the air gets a little cooler. Anyway I have to say in this respect that the heat was not unbearable since there are several shaded areas and air circulates enough. The thing I really don't like is that we haven't found an alternative path to the stairs to go see the hippopotamus, zebras and other animals found in the topmost floor for which that area becomes impractical with strollers and utterly impractical for a disabled person.

  • We had to survive one day in Naples (the city was a huge disappointment) before going back home and to keep our daughter happy and busy, we went to the zoo. Well, it doesn't blow your mind; it's pretty small -- the cages are relatively small, although there are signs saying they are working to improve that. There's a fair variety of animals, enough to keep a toddler occupied for about 2-3 hours. Some signs and labels have not been updated and therefore refer to wrong species. I must say I don't really like ZOOs but it served its purpose.
  • Fantastic
  • The redesign of the last years has contributed to improving the living conditions of the animals and the usability of the facility. Not wheelchair-accessible, there are areas to them totally inaccessible, even for families with strollers is not so comfortable. Price a bit expensive for a family (2 adults and 2 children do you need 40 euro and 3 parking). Though Naples deserves that we continue to invest in the structure.

  • Saturday, May 13, with a wife and kids, we spent a wonderful day at the Zoo in Naples. From 14:30 till 17:30 the time flew by, we almost forgot we were in town. The Park was clean, and there is a chance to feed the pets food provided by attendants, for children contact with animals was a lot of fun. Only flaw is that it costs €10 and low and only by 3 years and under and over 60/65 (can't quite remember). Advice to all families a visit. PS. There is a possibility to organize birthday parties talking with management.

  • Naples Zoo is in a phase of slow but steady growth. Finally there is a sufficient number of animals to observe the spaces dedicated to them are adequate. The problem of Naples Zoo is the Organization and often a type of people who go there, for example, often the picnic area tables are found laden with cooler bags, backpacks, jackets etc without there being people, that is, they occupy the tables and they leave. I pointed out the security thing several times but nothing, do nothing. So I recommend the visit to weekdays and avoid like the plague of go holidays.

Where to stay in Naples

Naples' lodging options include everything from turn-of-the-century historical mansions to hip boutique hotels. For a five-star experience in the heart of town, book a centrally located luxury hotel. Less expensive but just as comfortable, traditional inns just outside the central area offer peaceful comfort, private parking, and private outdoor space ideal for quiet dinners and small parties. If you are looking for a less urban experience and prefer to stay in a leafy neighborhood, consider the city's residential suburbs.
