  • The crater is impressive but there is nothing spectacular on the inside. Just a lake and Woods around with a circular path. No maintenance, this wooden barriers there fell with no one to pick them up. The panels describing the flora and fauna break figure and rot on the spot. Did someone down to get a clean shot. Nobody, at least for several months. Unacceptable when there are several people at the counter of course talking.... It's the image of Naples, everyone who cares! Pay six euros for it's making fun of the world.

  • Going on the tangenziale towards Pozzuoli, you can go out to Astroni: is a crater-one of the many volcanic area-which, however, has preserved its original appearance. No anthropization (houses, buildings, concrete) except for one road into concentric circles towards the bottom: a crater lake, with all the fauna and flora of the Lake areas. There are guards in rods that allow the sighting of waterfowl that nest and use the area as a base of their migrations. The atmosphere is a little to Jurassic Park because there is a mild climate, almost unreal: not a sound or smell that are not natural. Nature is not comfortable or at least not to our habits. In short it is a hike that is kinda pesantina species on return. But for the lazy, the elderly or people in trouble physics there is the possibility to use a shuttle that runs periodically. Anyway who can go on foot.

  • I was with my family, one Sunday morning in November. A remarkable walk, and especially challenging. Nice, nice, nice pond landscape area where is located the big oak. There are picnic areas, and various points with things more or less attractive. I found the Park average. Maybe the best period for a walk like that, but I did not find it particularly exciting the place. Recommend it to anyone who wants to do this hike to choose most suitable months. In November the reserve closes at 15.30. In the other months I don't know. Maybe I missed the best coming in a cold period.
