  • He comes to see a cloister and a few beautiful rooms, as well as the underground remains of the Roman and medieval city. Not great especially for the price! See the Church right next door: she is beautiful and free.

  • Yet a piece of underground Naples story ... and not only ... The basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore is very nice to visit, including the cloister, Sixtus V and the chapter room ... value added are the Museum and the opportunity of the visit to Neapolis Buried (with or without Guide) ... you go back in time to ancient Naples ... Neapolis, founded by the Greeks and later rebuilt by the Romans. The Guide (Lucy) was simply good, professional and passionate at the same time ... A slice of Naples not to be missed

  • I had the chance and the pleasure to visit the complex of San Lorenzo, truly unique and special. The guide Joseph was the value added to the tour because his stories and his explanations he projected in Bourbon Naples and taught us aspects of Naples and excavations, both me and the team, we did not imagine could exist. I also recommend the book written by The Neapolis Buried, "a precise and detailed narrative on the history of archaeological excavations in the old town. Congratulations also goes to Dott.ssa Anna Di Lorenzo, professionalism only and godmother of the complex. COME VISIT US

  • Great tour, wonderful roman and Greek ruins just below the actual city. A must to see
  • This is not the only one and not the best of the sottetrata! Exit through the gift shop style, with no explanation!- unless you take the hilarious audioguide. Entrance is at least 9€ in nonseason. If you go to herculaneum or pompei, you'll see the same and more!
  • A must to understand how Naples is an ancient city thousands of years!! Under the Roman level, there is the Greek one

  • Underground excavations usable, very nice location. Three levels of excavations for three different historical periods. Well trained Guide. To see as an alternative to Naples underground. A completely different story.
