  • It is an extraordinary place that blend the echoes of historical periods of great splendour for this city. On an original Gothic, dating to the Angevin period, virtually erased by a series of catastrophic winds, and the complex has raised in his Church and its cloister artistic marks of the 16th and 17th centuries a great elegance and magnificence of a city that was the capital of a Kingdom. All this following of artistic eras merges currently with modern works of religious art reflected in the Museum of contemporary art. In the beautiful cloister, down the Hall to the right you can admire a monumental Tomb that hits for that ominous crest of a dragon that overcomes a crest of Knight. It is not a particular but is the main figure. It seems that the investigations made by a university student involved in a historical dissertation on the monumental complex is coming off a seemingly incomprehensible inscription placed on one side of the monument not very accessible. After a long process has climbed back to a relationship between this tomb and the famous count Vlad Tepes, who would arrive in Naples because of a daughter married to a nobleman. Is it true? Well, maybe and maybe he'll definitely maybe began to not take itself too seriously.

  • The entire complex is not within the usual circuit of the city tour of Naples, but from what we've seen and liked personally, I can say it's worth a visit at least three to four hours to dwell on the particularities both in the cloister Church. It is also to see the part of the former monastery on the upper floors and a rich and refined collection of Neapolitan Nativity scenes.

  • A magnificent complex, quaint and charming cloister Church! A hidden gem in downtown Naples maybe not advertised and sponsored as it should. So worth it, sacred and mystical atmosphere at the same time, to be visited with a guide. Beautiful frescoes in the cloisters
