I have found no opera of note. Currently used by the Ukrainian community, Byzantine rite functions take place. The Church is part of a larger complex that includes the old hospital of the brothers Hospitallers of St. John of God, built at the end of ' 500, but with use of older buildings, as revealed by the beautiful marble portal with a round arch, which leads to the courtyard of the former Hospital (located before the church coming from Castel Capuano). It is the former Hospital complex to be much more interesting part of the Church, although it is now partially used by municipal offices and mostly in a State of neglect and decay. Almost down to one side there is a marble altar and along the side walls, about 2 meters high, runs a gallery from which at one time it was distributing food to the sick (usually people) to avoid infection. The Church is only open on Thursdays and Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings; the first courtyard of the hospital complex is normally always open, while the Hall of the hospital can be accessed only when municipal offices open (usually morning from Monday to Friday), but be warned: the official entrance to the room you will find it still closed (except in May) but if you ask any civil servant, probably will enter the Hall as it happened to us, through a side entrance which is located in a corridor of the municipal office.show original
