With the tombs of saints and commoners dating from the second century, Catacombe di San Gennaro is one of Naples' most important Christian site. • An extraordinary archaeological site that I highly recommend visiting. Special thanks also to Anne, the cooperative La Paranza, which with professionalism and competence we knew how to drive and at the same time move in this picturesque path.

  • Friendly right from the beginning, moderate ticket costs. Competent and guide at the site: extensive presentation of history with clear references to situations and characters that represented the place illustrates with simplicity and clarity.

  • Very nice the catacombs, they open an interesting glimpse into the history of Naples. The expert guidance and good organization made this visit very enjoyable. In the end, a walk of 20 minutes in the neighborhood took me to the National Archaeological Museum, as well as the catacombs of San Gaudisio, that I couldn't go because it was now late afternoon, but which are included in the same ticket, valid for one year after the first visit. I repeat, the social cooperative Paranza, with his organization, is doing a great job. I highly recommend a visit.

  • Cool, but rather short tour. All bones have been moved, but still nice to look at and get some history
  • Magic place with great history. Guides tours every hour for 45 minutes each. Also a possibility to escape summer heat underground. Free parking outside.
  • Great site! English speaking tour guide. Had no problem with parking on-site (free). Take your camera but no flash allowed. If you know how to edit your photos, then that will be no problem. I got some great photos that looked pitch black, but when I adjusted the lighting they came out very nice.
  • A must to see in Naples. Wide paleochristian site, unique in Italy, very different from the roman ones
  • Very interesting to see and hear the history of these catacombs and if you know this is set up to give local youth steady work I strongly recommend it you will not be disappointed!
