  • Church of Santa Maria alla Sanità, one hour guided tour costs 8 euro (valid ticket 12, exists also applies to the nearby catacombs of San Gennaro). Professional Guide great place well groomed and full of history in the heart of health care. Not to be missed along with other beautiful and interesting things nearby.

  • Interesting place to visit, even by coupling the catacombs of San Gennaro which are different and complementary. Young guides who competently and enthusiastically tell you about the history of this place.

  • There are places, in Naples, full of charm where folklore, mysticism, myth, superstition hands the visitor and accompany him on a journey exciting and unexpected. The Catacombs of San Gaudioso are just one of the stages of this journey, in a Naples to be rediscovered and appreciated. Then I strongly suggest you go to the neighborhood health and cross the threshold of the Basilica of Saint Mary, from here you can enter the catacombs guided by the boys of the social cooperative "La Paranza", passionate and competent. The tour lasts about an hour and is available in Italian and English, the opening hours are from 10.00 to 13.00 and tickets can be purchased directly at the basilica. It has a duration of one year and will also visit the catacombs of San Gennaro. I recommend you bring a sweater because, being an underground cemetery, the humidity level is high. Good visit!

  • This palochristian site, with also graves from the XVII century, is wonderful and really interesting, but smaller than San Gennaro one. A must to see
  • Worth a visit, really interesting - especially hearing about the restoration work they're doing at the moment
  • Guided very bella.il place and very interesting. The cooperative paranza, which manages them, and formed by boys of the sanità district who work well and with great enthusiasm. Bravi!

  • Very good experience. Let me start by saying that the visit to the catacombs is managed and maintained by boys of the Sanità district organized as cooperative, with the aim of restarting the economic and social life in the neighbourhood. The tour lasts about an hour and takes place in the catacombs beneath the area of the basilica. The guides are very prepared. With the same ticket you can also visit the catacombs of San Gennaro (not too distant).

  • From Neapolitan, I must confess that I have never been there and when I decided I was not impressed. The catacombs are very nice and also the Church that hosts them. The visits take place only with the Guide and are anytime at negligible cost of € 8 per person. The cost of the ticket includes the entrance to the catacombs of San Gennaro to be carried out within one year. The site is very impressive and worth a lot even driving that spares no anecdotes and interesting explanations. The catacombs are found in the much-discussed health district, whose young population you redeem by managing this site to perfection. The guys from the neighborhood, United in cooperatives operate this site and to San Gennaro subsidized only by private entities. Excellent example of those who want to roll up your sleeves and shake off the clichés. Well done to all ...
