  • It is a particularly attractive and photogenic Castle thanks to the front of the door. Once inside there is a small art gallery with some works of particular interest and many with fairly little. There is also a terrace with spectacular views to the port. The inlet not is free

  • Impressive castle-museum complex with many interesting components, however, they are not all always accessible and the civic museum suffers from poor lighting design (like many Italian museums) which makes it difficult to fully enjoy all the exhibited artworks.
  • Castel Nuovo is probably the most fascinating medieval building among the seven fortresses built during the centuries. The tickets is a bit expensive (€6), and the setting-up may not be exactly "wow" but it is really worthwhile
  • A castle to visit. It only cost € 6, because the building is quite small. However, there are many interesting things and a very nice view from the terrace (sea view). Even more beautiful than the Tower (one of six). Inside there are also two exhibitions of paintings, with several works. The first contains Renaissance paintings, the other, more beautiful in my opinion, southern artist paintings of the nineteenth century and early 1900.

  • In a dominant position, stands on piazza Municipio the imposing structure of Castel Nuovo, better known as the Angevin Tower. Built precisely during the rule of the city by Charles of Anjou in the 13th century, is distinguished by high walls and towers and massive, widely projected on the glass surface.
