  • Maschio Angioino or Castel Nuovo that you want to call it is one of the most important symbols of Naples. Stands majestically on the Town Hall square. Is undoubtedly one of the monuments to visit in Naples, among other things also hosts the Civic Museum and the Palace Chapel. In summer then its huge courtyard becomes arena theatre plays. Certainly a must!

  • New Castle also known as "Maschio Angioino", stands in the middle of Town Hall square within walking distance from the port of Naples. This imposing building was a centre of culture attended by numerous artists from Giotto to Petrarch. He later became a fortress. Today it is the seat of the Civic Museum of Naples. In the Palatine Chapel frescoes by Giotto of 1330, representing "stories from the old and New Testaments", numerous sculptures including some "the Madonna enthroned with the child" and the bronze Bell of santa Barbara.

  • From the 13TH century, a very interesting temple, but looks ready to climb stairs and to cross it. It is interesting to see under glass and walk on the glass to see the sculptures on the ground.
