3.3/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web
Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) is a medieval castle near the sea with iconic architecture. Many visitors claim the outside view is the most impressive, so be sure to stop for photos. Once inside, you can find a 15th-century bronze door with a cannonball embedded in it, historical artwork, and other antiquities. Also look for the glass-floored room that looks down into the catacombs, which house some unearthed skeletons. English translations are not typically offered, so consider hiring a guide before you go. • Organizational service needs to be revised, I agree with the comments of other reviewers, but it hurts me to read some reviews about Naples: in terms of staff, no one surpasses us, and it is not possible to think that all citizens of my beautiful city are so. Remains the base point, Maschio Angioino or Castel nuovo, call it what you like, almost put to guard the port, is one of the symbols of Naples. everything else is contentious and material that should be treated in the seats. But I repeat: don't confuse some attendant aloof throughout the city.
