Bagno Elena, Naples

1.0
#18 of 28 in Parks in Naples
Nestled in a bay between a 17th-century palace and an ancient watchtower, Bagno Elena features a stretch of volcanic sand, a wooden sundeck with a bar, and a cafeteria. The beach has been welcoming tourists since 1840, and today remains a good spot for those who wish to take a quick dip without having to drive far from the city. The sand can get scorching hot, so don't forget to wear your flip-flops. • Definitely average with the other shores of the location, the cleanliness is acceptable however for a place at this level, I find it a bit disconcerting the prices they have sun beds and umbrellas, not to mention the food Department & drink. Don't make me jump out of my chair because not much different from neighbouring towns but I still think that everyone should get resized. Another note I would on the closure of the lido, there's no way to push beyond the 18:00 and I find it a bit disappointing.

  • I've been to the bathrooms Elena last about 15 years ago; and today, given the wonderful day and an ideal temperature for a dip (which we think is always the last one) we decide to return. Obviously the choice to spend a day at the beach in an area like this must be accompanied by the knowledge of finding facilities though not Sheek and sometimes even a bit neglected, but nevertheless full of charm conaiderato that in such places the time seems to stand still. On the other hand I think that entrepreneurial choice (not to dive into investment giddy) is also consistent with the difficulties vincolistiche in the area and the need not to practice prices that significantly effect of bicarbonato return on invested capital. Ultimately, a structure on average and acceptable sufficientemenete is as good as can be expected in a paradise which is also a simple rock or posillipo, where a metre of sand cut out some day give you encouraging Cove unforgettable. That said, the technical point of view-descriptive and with a view to providing specifications apply to those who wish to travel to this structure it is possible to highlight the following characteristics:-Park in scooter is not a problem, as there are sufficient space right next to the entrance of the lido; different is the speech for the car, so either you decide to pause in paid parking lots (3 euros an hour) or you try to flush parking at largo sermoneta; -the beach is dark colored volcanic-like though not tending to black; -spectacular scenery and picturesque and water; -the area intended for sunbeds is not particularly extensive, to the benefit of better serenity and tranquility; -fellow bathers good looking, polite and friendly and above all very silent and discreet; -the structure is minimal and devoid of raunchy animation (this observation is not intended as a criticism to the structure, but an exhortation for anyone looking for "brothel" and "chaos", and who are intent on giving vent to who knows what unknown drive: step out onto the well known litorale domitio, you will find them more appropriate structures) only negative forces me to leave a review "media" is the non-tariff adjustment to low season: we are still in the fall and I think it is overkill require €10 for cot (no umbrella).

  • If you're looking for a nice city beach in the heart of Naples, this is probably as good as it gets. It's overpriced (we got a discount because they were renovating the stairs), but you'll get a sunbe...  more »
