Bagno Elena, Naples

1.0
#16 of 24 in Outdoors in Naples
Nestled in a bay between a 17th-century palace and an ancient watchtower, Bagno Elena features a stretch of volcanic sand, a wooden sundeck with a bar, and a cafeteria. The beach has been welcoming tourists since 1840, and today remains a good spot for those who wish to take a quick dip without having to drive far from the city. The sand can get scorching hot, so don't forget to wear your flip-flops. • Discreet, away from excellence, still acceptable, nay for three and not four pellets for the conditions of the loungers, decidedly outdated, certainly to be replaced. For the rest, acceptable environment, clean beach, after all, a quick dip it can be done. ...

  • Deck chairs at the bar and bathrooms are dirty, surly staff, today we see a huge rat among the deck chairs and to be on August 16 I think it inconceivable to close at 17.30 3 chairs and an umbrella because we paid 50 euro...al the person who cleans bathrooms made me wait a lifetime before entering despite wasn't being cleaned and the bathrooms were empty , saw my insistence to get rudely pointed me a bath and just closed the door I realized he didn't have a handle to get out, knock but to no avail and even if the janitor was there I opened, it did a customer making me notice that behind the door there was a sign that says fault which I noticed upon entering the door was open because nn but surely he knew ... you do not own

Where to stay in Naples

Naples' lodging options include everything from turn-of-the-century historical mansions to hip boutique hotels. For a five-star experience in the heart of town, book a centrally located luxury hotel. Less expensive but just as comfortable, traditional inns just outside the central area offer peaceful comfort, private parking, and private outdoor space ideal for quiet dinners and small parties. If you are looking for a less urban experience and prefer to stay in a leafy neighborhood, consider the city's residential suburbs.
