  • The small medieval village of Murlo is situated on a small hill, very beautiful stone houses, small squares, arches that divide some streets. From a door you can admire the village of Vescovado di Murlo. Great place to visit at few km from Buonconvento.

  • Hearing about it for years, eventually you have to see for yourself such a place. Isn't hard to reach, well sign posted and then of the highest impact. Free parking right next to the village, a few steps and here is the door to enter. Beautiful, beautiful, though the size is really small. Here there are many traces of ancient Etruscan settlements, some of which are collected in an interesting Museum, but the real development occurred in the middle ages and this is the main reason for which Murlo today is a point of interest. But we must not underestimate even the allure of the road that leads to Murlo, both coming from Monteroni d'arbia arriving from Montalcino.

  • I got there almost by accident and it was a pleasant surprise. Is a small hamlet so well kept is so full of history and of calm that makes you want to stay. Sitting on a wall or on the stairs of a House to listen to the silence that there is up here. I thought it was a real treat. For lovers of tranquility and beauty of the history of these places and landscapes around them.
