  • This place was absolutely spectacular. They let us in to see the masters at work. We saw them making a horse and a plate. Absolutely spectacular. The merchandise is stunning and very affordable. I had...  more »
  • This is a place where in addition to the store selling the public with several varieties of glass pieces for all prices and tastes can watch in the manufactures of how some of these pieces are made using different techniques.

  • A very pleasant tour and smooth purchase; no pressure, but not much room for haggling, either. Don't know about others, but salesman had me autograph the piece I bought. It arrived as promised in a very sturdy wooden crate, with my signature on the surface where I had placed it. Please note that USA shipping destinations will be subject to import duty on purchases, billed to you by the carrier; FedEx in my case. Duty varies by product, so check before you buy and mentally add this to the price.
  • Visited this factory by arrangement with our hotel in Venice and arrived by Water Taxi. We were met at the dock by Mario who spoke excellent English. We saw the Maestro making glass chandelier and other objects. We then had a tour of showroom with some amazing products. We ended the tour in their shop where we purchased two items - there was absolutely no pressure and the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this establishment to any visiting the island.
  • Lovely collection of glass artworks... It's amusing to see them make glass artifacts. Don't miss the demonstration.
  • HORRIBLE! Ordered a piece as a replica form a piece i saw on showroom. Paid $2000 - when it arrived it did not look like the showroom place. Looked like something they mass produced. What a scam. I sent pictures showing it was not the same as the showroom piece. They told me I should be happy I had a piece created by a master - Master of Crappy Work is what it is. BEWARE!
  • WARNING! Their "Murano" glass is really not Murano and you can find the EXACT SAME items on the main Venice Island for literally HALF the price. It happened to me. I bought some nice looking glass cups, the next day when I was back in Venice, I saw the exact same cups in another store for literally half the price. When I asked the merchant that was offering the same cups for half the price if it was Murano glass he said no. Vetreria Ducale needs to be shut down for selling counterfeit products.
