  • If you are visiting Venice we suggest to go to this awsome glass factory. It was great experience and very beautiful art collection of glass. Owner of this factory was very nice and let us see the pro...  more »
  • Guided tour with Alilaguna located just steps from the vaporetto stop. My doubt and that it is only and solely a business to attract customers in the adjacent showroom. The demonstration in the small furnace, made by maestro Marcello, are inside a room that looks like a theater, of course it is wonderful to see how from a trifle comes a work of art, but this is not a furnace but a show-room in all respects. Prices for myself are exaggerated, partly because I bought a necklace to €20 but to my surprise the magazine identical to another store next to piazza San Marco with a certificate from €12 ... does anything the disappointments they take. On my own, pay close attention before you buy. Gives me a huge bother writing a review like this, on an art so beautiful and unique of our Italy, as our fantastic artisans indeed glassmakers, appearing with foreign tourists that this is just a banal and dreary business.

  • Arrived at the Ducal Glassware we were welcomed very well by everyone especially by Giacomo that throughout the duration of the visit explained the types of glass work with professionalism and grace as the glasses themselves. His sympathy and his valuable recommendations made the visit even more beautiful. Many greetings to Giacomo from Charlie the dog golden retriever that made you sweat but hasn't broken anything and Martina, Lella, Edward and Barbara in Turin.

  • We were offered a complimentary visit to the glass factory. It was amazing to see the craftsmen up close working the glass. The products in the showrooms varied from very expensive to quite reasonable for the low end products. Some marvellous works of art ! Michele, our guide was a gentleman, very informative and there was no pressure to buy. A very good experience. I would recommend.
  • Impressed by the craftsmanship. I definitely recommend you pop in.
  • Expensive and staff sucks. My wife aaked for the restrooms and they told her that they where outside (she is pregnant) and when my friends hot girlfriend asked they took her to a private one.
  • The show takes about 3 minutes. After this they take you into a selling room. If you watch they want you to go outside...
  • A very pleasant tour and smooth purchase; no pressure, but not much room for haggling, either. Don't know about others, but salesman had me autograph the piece I bought. It arrived as promised in a very sturdy wooden crate, with my signature on the surface where I had placed it. Please note that USA shipping destinations will be subject to import duty on purchases, billed to you by the carrier; FedEx in my case. Duty varies by product, so check before you buy and mentally add this to the price.
