  • Picked up ( literally ) in San Marco Plazza & whipped off in a speed boat direct to Murano ... well the wharf of Ferro E Lazzarini... on Murano. Greeted by Claudio who graciously showed us the glass.....  more »
  • What an amazing experience. Must see the iconic Murano Glass up close and in person. Short demonstration but completely understandable due to the crazy hot day we arrived on. For those who REALLY want to experience the full gallery show interest and ask to see "upstairs". We came. We bought. We are satisfied.
  • I came with a big group on a tour and I found the process of making the glass object very interesting. You stand on a platform and watch in awe as men turn raw glass into delicate and beautiful pieces of art - apparently with no effort. Their skills take decades to develop. The attached shop sells a huge range of items from tiny to huge. Be warned, they are not inexpensive!
  • I was there as part of a tour. Very educational in an entertaining fashion. The 60 year old glass blower was amazing to watch. Apparently, he's been doing it since the age of 10.
  • Situated on an island near venice. The tour took us to the factory via a pleasant boat ride. Best glassware and jewelry that are quite pricey!!!
  • Tourist trap! The exact same products cost half in the shop next door. They refused to accept credit card because "it's better". Watch the show and then run for your life!
