  • Great welcome from the staff who, having fed the guests (since the day white Utah Jumbo), into multiple languages explained the techniques of master glassmaker while performing in front of our eyes a few stained glass objects. After the demonstration has gone to the store where we could see exposed real works of art always accompanied by precise explanations of how they are created but without any obligation or insistence on purchases, indeed you are anxious that we brought home (for free) a small object equal to the cost of the visit.

  • We have posted a guide about get your guide and made three glass-blowing demonstration. It was in a short (max. 10 minutes) but impressive demonstration is shown as a vase is blown and as a horse made of glass "pulled". After one is done in the showrooms. There you can buy unique items at high prices or small typical souvenirs. The staff was helpful but not intrusive. The entrance fee for the guided tour (€ 10 per person) is granted as discount - no minimum sales.

  • If you are interested in glass and anywhere near Venice this is a top priority. Watching these artisans create the most beautiful works was a great privilege. I was also intrigued by the choice of shirts given the proximity of heat sources. Polyester... Really? The whole experience was wonderful. We sat mesmerized for over an hour. Maybe we were lucky with timing. There were only 7 or 8 of us in there while they assembled and finished of a largish commission. Together with the 3 minute prancing horse. Very impressive.
  • The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Explanation was in Italian, German and English language. It is important to add they have clean and guest friendly toilet facilities. And last but not least... Glass pieces are exquisite. Bravo maestro.
  • It was my first experience of seeing how glass is made and I really enjoyed it. I paid 10 euros per person for this tour and demonstration and got 10 euro credit to spent in the store of the glass factory. I ended up getting glass hors because I have sent one made, because it was 10 euro (free because I had a credit of 10 euro).the mane reason I didn't buy anything else is because it is much much much cheaper in Venice! I am talking 2-3 times cheap! So, 5 stars for experience and 1 star for prices.
  • My friends and I visited Vetreria Artistica Colleoni in May of 2016. It's a short walk from the ferry stop and upon entering the staff was welcoming and friendly. They offered a glass blowing demonstration/tour for 10 euros and told us that would be credited towards any purchase we made at the end of the tour. We accepted and watched one of the master glass makers work and then went on a short tour. The demonstration was fun, interesting and professional. The tour ended in the gallery where we took advantage of the 10 euro credit and bought some reasonably priced and beautiful gifts. The artists there create exquisite work. I would recommend Vetreria Artistica Colleoni to anyone visiting Venice/Murano.
  • We visited Colleoni glass factory in March 2016 with a group of my high school students on a school trip from Canada. We made arrangements to visit a few months in advance, via email with Ludo. It was 20 euros per person for a demonstration and a glass craft - which for most of our students involved making a bracelet, which they all loved and appreciated as a great souvenir. When we arrived Ludo was waiting for us, and they were ready to go. The glass demo was about 10 minutes, and the glass maker made a glass and a horse - which were both very impressive. Then we spent about 20-25 minutes making our bracelets. We then had time to shop while they finished up our bracelets for us. The items in the store are definitely beautiful, though of course expensive. However, our group still found some affordable items to take home and cherish.
